darth tater
I've been lurking on these forums for a while now so figured I should join up! Had a Rasputina box for ages but finally had my first game on Wednesday night. It was against Lady Justice and once we'd both figured out the triggers and what-nots the game flowed simply and quickly! It was a lot of fun and we both enjoyed it! Anyway, real names Simon and I live just around the corner from Gatwick airport in the UK. I play far too many games, including.....WM, Hordes, Twilight, FWC, Urban War, Helldorado oh and now Malifaux Edited May 14, 2010 by darth tater
Lucidicide
Welcome to the crew. One thing I like about Malifaux is that the basic rules are simple enough and more intuitive than many. Then it's just a matter of learning the models!
darth tater
Yeah we read the rulebook many times and went "whaa????" at many things, especially triggers, but then you play and it all makes sense!
EricJ
Welcome! Great to hear you tried it out and liked it. It is a bit of a different mechanic than people are used to, but I do think people pick it up pretty fast once they get a few games in. Great to have you in the forums, enjoy your stay!
