Monkeyclops
Are there any terrain size recommendations for Malifaux? I ask becuase my group comes from 40K, so we have some pretty big pieces of terrain that do fit into Mx. For example, I have several forest bases that I cut out of green vinyl, though some of the pieces are rather large (one piece is roughly 12"x8" and another is 18"x3"). When playing on a 3x3 board these take up alot of the room so I plan on cutting them down, was wondering what people thought about a 6x6 max size? Also, I want to make some fence and wall pieces for element terrain. Since you are allowed to place 3 pieces of element terrain at a time I was thinking that 4" fence/wall pieces would be good, allowing you to place up to a single 12" fence/wall at a time if you put them all together. Thoughts? Thanks!
greenstuff_gav
alot of the "special" terrain is on a size base of 3" by 3"... the buildings i've got are about 4" by 3" (some bigger tho ) and they seem to be big enough
Monkeyclops
Thanks! Wasn't sure if a "standard" size was a bit larger since the Claim Jump strategy calls for a 5"x5" (min) area terrain piece.
paperbag4
most of the terrain we play on is based onto CDs for a unifrom size.
