zombiesatemygoldfish
I dont have my book with me, and if you can do i have to make a defensive flip also?
AoM
you may choose to have your models fail any duel. and yes, you can totally Lure your own models, as per the text of the spell. It does not specify "target enemy model."
DarkMattah
I know this is digging up and old thread but couldn't find anything more appropriate with the answer I was looking for. As a newb to Seamus I just wanted to check that when you Lure your own models you still have to keep them out of melee range so they don't start attacking each other? tenabrae
It's worth noting since you've dragged it up the initial response isn't exactly correct either. You can choose to _tie_ resistance against your own _spells_. You still flip to resist though. Do you mean in case they lure each other into melee range ? Sure. It's worth noting in that case that Lure doesn't give you an option, you must move full Wk toward the luring model. If you mean because of parting strikes: a) parting strikes are voluntary friendly models don't make parting strikes
sinks
I'm pretty sure that you are asking about the attack made by the belle if the move ends within melee range. The wording is pretty straightforward, "If the push ends with the target in this model's melee range it makes a melee attack against the target". There's nothing stopping you from cheating fate on the attack flip with a low card though...

And using a Bash attack instead of the Belles Teeth & Claw or Umbrella
DarkMattah
I'm also assuming that whilst it says "towards" this model it doesn't have to be directly towards it? Edited October 29, 2010 by DarkMattah
CrouchingMoose
you may choose to have your models fail any duel. and yes, you can totally Lure your own models, as per the text of the spell. It does not specify "target enemy model." You can choose to have any friendly models fail a duel, however a defensive filp is still required. It just doesn't matter if the defensive flip is successful or not you can still pick the outcome, it only matter that you went through and used the fate deck for an outcome. This is a new ruling in the official errata under the resisting a duel section.
tenabrae
You can choose to have any friendly models fail a duel Again they don't 'fail' they 'tie'. The degree of success for the spell is 0.
Keltheos
I'm also assuming that whilst it says "towards" this model it doesn't have to be directly towards it? Correct, toward and directly toward are separate in the rules.
