'These dark delights' - Charging into Antiluminal Bridge

bandages

Question

We had a rules question about the Trigger Antiluminal Bridge come up today.

Can an Umbra model charge into one of the Shadow Markers, be placed by Gibson, then take it's 'free' charge melee attack at its' 'new' location?

We played it as yes, as it simply states that after a move ends it can be placed, but doesn't indicate that the move or action has to have fully resolved.

My answer is yes, you can teleport through a bridge and then punch afterwards with a charge.

The reason for this, is while most folks see charge as 1 thing, it is actually 2 things. The charge action is complete after a model is pushed up to their move. The melee that happens at the end of a charge is a generated Action. So even if antiluminal said something like 'resolved an action that moved a model into base contact with a shadow' it would still teleport and then swing for a charge, as the action that moves (the charge) would be resolved before the melee occurs.
