Guslado Posted August 31, 2022 Report Share Posted August 31, 2022 September Malifaux Monthly Tournament! - Houston, Texas Date: Saturday, September 10, 2022 Start time: 11:00am Location: Dragon's Lair Houston North Address: 21155A State Highway 249, Houston, Texas 77070 It’s time once again for the monthly Malifaux Tourney at Dragon’s Lair Houston! We’ve had some amazing turnouts for our tourneys lately and I would love to keep those awesome numbers up! With many of the top Lonestar players returning from the NOVA Open US Faux Tour Master’s championship (hopefully victoriously), now is your chance to cheer for your conquering heroes and then take your best shot to unseat them from their reign of terror! This tournament will kick off the new US Faux Tour Season for the Lonestar Conference–last season the Lonestar Conference was the most active conference in all of the USFT and I’d love to see us hold that title again! Come on out and climb up the rankings early! (Information and rankings can be found at: https://www.usfauxtour.com/standings/ ) We're booked for tournaments the 2nd Saturday of every month at Dragon's Lair in their new space, so block out that day on your calendars in perpetuity! Dragon's Lair also recently opened up their Tabletop Tavern, so now you can drink a beer while playing some Malifaux! This event will be a three round, 50 Soulstone, fixed faction tournament utilizing the Malifaux 3rd Edition rules. Registration will begin at 11:00 AM. Round 1 will begin as close to 12:00 PM as possible. Wyrd released their annual Errata and FAQ on February 16th, so make sure you familiarize yourself with the changes and update your crew builder app to have the most current cards and rules downloaded. Proxies for these models will be acceptable so long as they are on the correct base size and you inform your opponent in advance what the proxy model is representing. As always, painting is not required. This tournament will be making use of the Gaining Grounds Season Three document, which may be found at:https://www.wyrd-games.net/s/M3E_GG03_Rules.pdf There is no painting requirement for this tournament.
