Guslado
August Malifaux Monthly Tournament! - Houston, Texas Date: Saturday, August 13, 2022 Start time: 11:00am Location: Dragon's Lair Houston North Address: 21155A State Highway 249, Houston, Texas 77070 It’s time once again for the monthly Malifaux Tourney at Dragon’s Lair Houston! We’ve had some amazing turnouts for our tourneys lately and I would love to keep those awesome numbers up! Several of you will just be getting back from Gen Con right before this tourney and those who didn’t make it might have sent someone to ninja shop for you, so this is the perfect time to play with your new toys and/or get your new toys from your designated ninja! We're booked for tournaments the 2nd Saturday of every month at Dragon's Lair in their new space, so block out that day on your calendars in perpetuity! Dragon's Lair also recently started carrying a larger stock of Malifaux and have even more new products coming in! This event will be a three round, 50 Soulstone, fixed faction tournament utilizing the Malifaux 3rd Edition rules. Registration will begin at 11:00 AM. Round 1 will begin as close to 12:00 PM as possible. Wyrd released their annual Errata and FAQ on February 16th, so make sure you familiarize yourself with the changes and update your crew builder app to have the most current cards and rules downloaded. Links to the Errata and FAQ can be found here: https://www.wyrd-games.net/news/2022/2/16/waldos-weekly-them-changes As several of you may be getting new toys from Gen Con, if it’s something new from Gen Con I will be VERY liberal with my proxy policy because we’d all love to try out our new toys! Proxies for these models will be acceptable so long as they are on the correct base size and you inform your opponent in advance what the proxy model is representing. As always, painting is not required. This tournament will be making use of the Gaining Grounds Season Three document, which may be found at:https://www.wyrd-games.net/s/M3E_GG03_Rules.pdf There is no painting requirement for this tournament. Entry fee is $10 and goes entirely to prize support.
