Guslado
March Malifaux Monthly Tournament! First Tourney in Dragon's Lair's new space! Date: Saturday, March 12 2022 Start time: 11:00am Location: Dragon's Lair Houston North Address: 21155A State Highway 249, Houston, Texas 77070 It’s time once again for the monthly Malifaux Tourney at Dragon’s Lair Houston, but this time things are going to be different in a BIG way—Dragon's Lair Houston, our home for Malifaux for the past 5 years, just opened their new, improved, and MASSIVELY bigger store! They went from the 4000 sq. ft. store we've spent so much time in to over 10,000 sq. ft. of space! And conveniently the new space is in the same shopping center just 3 doors down from their old location—we have to walk slightly further for our mid-tourney margaritas now (until the liquor license for Dragon's Lair's new Tabletop Tavern goes through), but when you set foot in the new space you'll see that it's worth those few extra steps. Dragon's Lair Houston has been good to our community ever since I first started hosting tournaments there in March 2017, so let’s kick off Malifaux in their awesome new space with a bang!! We're still booked for tournaments the 2nd Saturday of every month at Dragon's Lair in their new space, so block out that day on your calendars in perpetuity! For anyone who hasn't seen it yet, the US Faux Tour is back and the Lonestar Conference is once again gunning to be the most active conference in all of the USFT! Come and get your points to climb to the top of the rankings! This event will be a three round, 50 Soulstone, fixed faction tournament utilizing the Malifaux 3rd Edition rules. Registration will begin at 11:00 AM. Round 1 will begin as close to 12:00 PM as possible. Wyrd released their annual Errata and FAQ on February 16th, so make sure you familiarize yourself with the changes and update your crew builder app to have the most current cards and rules downloaded. Links to the Errata and FAQ can be found here: https://www.wyrd-games.net/news/2022/2/16/waldos-weekly-them-changes All models must be assembled but as per the Gaining Grounds document painting is not required. As there are several new models in M3E that do not currently have models available, proxies for these models will be acceptable so long as they are on the correct base size and you inform your opponent in advance what the proxy model is representing. This tournament will be making use of the Gaining Grounds Season Two document, which may be found at:https://www.wyrd-games.net/s/M3E-Gaining-Grounds-Season-2.pdf There is no painting requirement for this tournament. Entry fee is $10 and goes entirely to prize support.
