Ghost_Dancer
Hi, New player/poster here. Just started playing Malifaux and bought some custom bases for my minis, but noticed they are slightly bigger (about 1mm) than the bases that came with the models - is this a problem or can I use them? Bengt
It would be against the rules. So you would have to ask every opponent for normal games or the organiser for tournament games if they are ok with it.

Using a relative comparison on this subject is the wrong thing to do, because injection molded plastic can shrink or flex as it cools. So it's possible to open a box and discover that the base for your 30mm models is somewhere between 29 and 30mm wide, and that would make a proper sized base look too big. Are the custom bases that you purchased 30mm/40mm/50mm across? If the bases are 31mm/41mm/51mm across, or more, that's the border of "too big." If you bought 32mm bases (which a certain other game recently switched to), that's way too big.
Ghost_Dancer
They were advertised as Malifaux bases, but they are 31mm. When held against proper sized bases they are noticeably bigger, so I'm guessing they are no good.
