graeme27uk
The model of Rasputina in the crew box doesn't really appeal to me. It doesn't really say "ice-magic casting powerful queen". I quite like the old version where she was floating but cannot get that now. What about the following: http://privateerpress.com/warmachine/gallery/cygnar/warcasters/major-prime-victoria-haley Go for the middle model - remove the backpack steam pipe thing. Too modern though? Can't find other models. Some have suggested using Sorscha but she looks too aggressive and a bit too armoured. Plus have to remove the weapons. http://privateerpress.com/warmachine/gallery/khador/warcasters/obavnik-kommander-zerkova-reaver-guard Another possible one but again too armoured? I could go for a male version of Rasputina.... "Rasputin". http://privateerpress.com/warmachine/gallery/khador/units/greylord-escort-doomreaver-ua Or completely more towards the "I am famine" http://privateerpress.com/hordes/gallery/circle-orboros/solos/lord-of-the-feast There are some other Circle casters but maybe too far towards the fantasy end. Any other suggestions? I know that Wyrd have / are re-releasing the original master sculpts but these are not commonly available as far as I know. Munindk
Of the warmachine/hordes models I think the Lord of the Feast would work best (and with the spoiled mk3 rules, you can probably pick him up cheap :p), the antlers match nicely with the Blessed of December (love the antlers, hate the rest of the model). The issue with the rest the rest of the miniatures (and to a lesser extent, LofF too) is that they're more fantasy and less steampunk them the Malifaux models. They're too bulky and maybe a bit too short too. Lose the bird and the sword, stick him on a snow base and paint him a pale blue and you're set.
graeme27uk
Rasputina's model doesn't really shout "steampunk". She is just a girl in a parker effectively. The only problem with the LotF is synergistic aesthetics with the rest of the crew. I like it when crews look like they belong together. lusciousmccabe
The Lord of the Feast is probably my favourite model from the bunch, but I'm not sure how well it would work as a Rasputina proxy. I could see it fetting into a Frozen Heart theme, but you'd probably need to mod other firgures extensively to make it work as the centrepiece. Munindk
The steampunk elements are mainly her goggles and all the buckles on her coat, I think its kinda steampunky that a wizard type can look like that, though.
