Simply rule, if a model with melee atack 3' and range atack 8', for example, are at 3' of an enemy model with melee atack 1'... Can the fisrt model shoot or charge? 2 Dogmantra Posted February 29, 2016 Report Share Posted February 29, 2016 There's no difference in Malifaux between engaged and engaging, so if at least one model is within engagement range of the other, neither can take actions or charges. However in your case the model with the longer attack range could simply step away and then take a action, since they will be out of range for a disengaging strike.
