ArcanistCupcake
Greetings everyone, I hope that the New Year is treating you all well so far! My quest to continue to find the very best way to help my gamers learn Malifaux without being scared off by different rules than GW, etc. continues. Do any of you know where I could find a guide that would be perfect for essentially teaching a 'Malifaux 101' class to about 15-20 people that want to learn about the game before investing? They have looked at the rule books, but to many of them it feels like they are looking at a foreign language. I want to be able to make the game easily digestible enough so they are not intimidated and relatable to any of the other games they may have played (i.e. Warhammer 40K, Warhammer Fantasy, Warmachine, Hordes, etc.). To those of you that may have run into this issue, how were you able to tackle it without scaring off potential players with the differences in rules? Any help would be appreciated! - ArcanistCupcake
LordZombie
The two player starter set is a great place to start. Nice slow learning curve with encounters for each, everything you need for two players in the box, really nice models which can be used as mercs in any list so there is not loss on buying it.
