Ophelia's "My Threatenin' Gun"

Two quick questions about Ophila's Upgrade "My Threatenin' Gun", Rulebook page 246:

1 - can Ophelia target herself with the (0) ability, to take an additional action since she's a Kin?

2 - can the additional actionl be used for a walk, focus, etc action that costs (1) but won't have any duels?

Also, a similar but more general question:

3 - when a model is allowed to take a (1) action, say because of the mentioned Upgrade or because of Obey or comparable, can it use the action to performe a defense action? I'm asking because it's basically a (#) action.

Quick note: the Upgrade has since been errated to say "...Other Kin..." since the upgrade was STUPID powerful the way it was (It also has been given the "Once the attack action has been used, discard this upgrade")

 

To cover the questions:

2) Totally cool to do that.

3) You can take a Defensive action, but only a Defensive 1
