  1. Yeah, not the case here though. No books, no Euripides. Just 2 M2E things, a faction pack and 6 Emissaries.

Honestly I'm just really bummed at this point because there's no way I'll have it all done in time for a tourney and the other hench around here won't be running another thing till late November. So I just... don't get to play competetive Malifaux til late November. Which would be whatever except that everyone else on my meta already has their stuff or will have it by Monday, even though they all ordered later than me.

I wish we could make out some order of it so it would be less frustrating is all, ya know? I am pretty upset because having your order slipped over for seemingly no reason sucks hard, and definitely isn't what the order waiver had us agree to.

  2. Oooh, jusy thought of something that might be delaying shipping times! Did anyone else who got skipped in the queue (I know for a fact someone who ordered on Saturday Night had his stuff shipped today) also have old product in the order? I had a pack of Mindless Zombies and Widow Weaver from M2E, it could be that they're waiting to hunt down old product in the warehouse until after the bulk of the orders are taken care of maybe?

In the past orders for some people have taken till mid to late September to arrive if I remember correctly. Just be patient. :)

OOF. I hope not this year. I have a tournament at the end of the month I need the stuff for 😨

  4. Yeah I knew they only dtarted processing things yesterday, I was just fairly early ordering and wasn't sure how fast they send stuff oit for this one! I guess maybe I'll have stuff by the end of next week then? If so prioritizing it is, unfortunately, but much better to know now!!

  5. Does anyone know when models go out for the Gencon sale? I know they're working on a backlog here, I just want to be realistic with myself about whether I'll be able to paint my haul in time for a tournament this month or I need to prioritize what I paint in favor of making sure I have the most likely relevant tech. (In fairness to me it's 15 models, 6 of them emissaries, so I'm no slouch normally with painting but it's intimidating lol!) Maybe this is a question that doesn't really need answering, I just remember the black Friday sale shipping out a lot faster and wasn't sure if maybe they take more time recovering from this one.

No, that was Witness. He was trying to get to a massive soulstone geode, and Witness is trapped in a massive soulstone geode surrounded by ice.

Ah right! Thanks! Like I said, it's been a while and things are a bit murky!

  7. I expect we'll finally see Sir Justin Cooper make an appearance. He'll likely have a Safari keyword with either a model or a supplemental box called Midnight Safari. I expect that hit totem will have some sort of condition removal and his crew will get an advantage when targeting models with a larger size, based on what limited lore we have for him.

We also have Basse, McCabe and Rollins, so that leaves four more members of the society. I expect at least two of those members will be brand new characters. It's possible that they've name dropped some, but I doubt they'll have name dropped everyone in the faction. So 2-4 brand new characters.

I expect that we have a sea captain, especially with the Gibbering Hordes' and alt Molly's popularity. Sea themed models are clearly wanted, so I think Wyrd will capitalize on that. I believe it will probably be an explorer searching for Meridian, likely an explorer from Earthside trying to end the chaos there, or a Moby Dick style inspiration. We could potentially instead see the captain of the boat name dropped in Seamus Crashes A Funeral become a master.

I think it's likely we see someone from The Council as part of this faction, because Wyrd's been pretty good about giving lore tidbits lately and having a Council member in the game would help crack deep lore.

So that's Big Game Hunter, Cowboy, Indiana Jones, Motorcycle Gang, Sea Captain and Magician. I think we could easily also see a tomb raider style master, but I think they'll hit us with something from out of the blue for the last one, possibly two, masters. They do want to surprise us after all!

  8. Hi all! I'll be running demos most Saturdays this month again at Heroes Comics and Gaming! We'll have a demo area set up to play from 10:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. EST, and we can run full games by request other days this month by demand. No crews necessary, we'll provide everything you need to learn the game! I'll be there every Saturday to run events except for August the 31st, when @noob will be running our area's first sanctioned tournament! We have in all of July's release boxes, so if you come in and learn this Saturday it'll give you a month to get a crew painted and ready to play then, and if you can't come then noob and I both run demos by request. Can't wait to see you there!

-Declare Crossroads as keyword and choosing one of 7 Henchman as your crew's Leader (that models faction is the declared faction for the event and the player doesn't have to run all 7 of the Crossroads model in the crew, remainder of crew composition continues as normal)

This is how the rules support it this edition, but again, it is a Henchman led crew technically.

I know @SparrowRose has Barbados which is why I brought it up, although idk if they wanted to run Nephilim.

I do know there's one person in our meta with Huggy and not Lynch but you explicitly wanted to avoid Huggy matches. I think (hopefully) that's all that are relevant and get hit.

  10. Hi all. Pretty weird but simple looking. I played Molly last edition so I have Emiline Bellerose and rotten belles, but I hate Seamus as a character so I bought seperate from the box kit. Now there's the new Seamus alt and I can have a full Redchappel keyword without needing to buy the crew box. Hooray!

The last thing to finagle is finding a Copycat Killer. I expect finding the old metal one is a bit easier than a loose plastic, but either are fine. I just need it to be legal for events! I'm not on a strict timeline here but I would prefer to get it sooner than later.

Thanks, hope someone has an extra they wouldn't mind parting with!

Seamus had an Alt which was based off the "Army of darkness" movie poster!

Available still online unless like me you're in Australia and postage ends up costing more then a new starter set 😣

Sorry, i thought context would carry it but I specifically meant an alternate as a different character, not a different pose alternate.

  13. I thought she was younger than (giving the Saloon fate deck) she is so do we have that information? Probably a stupid question but I was under the impression she died at 17 so I was very shocked when I saw her included there, and am thinking about repainting my Molly bc I didn't realize she wasn't a kid when I first painted her!
