  1. So, I'm not the op, but I am also a new Lilith player (although I have deep seated issues, and have already bought Pandora and Jacob Lynch despite having played 1 game so far). I'm planning to play 50ss games, as I don't like building for the smaller non-played options. I want to build a complete Lilith beater list to start, because it looks hilariously fun (and because my opponent murdered me first game with a Lady Justice list). I'm looking to do something like Neverborn 50ss Crew Lilith -- 7ss +On Wings Of Darkness - 1ss +Living Blade - 2ss +Beckon Malifaux - 1ss Primordial Magic - 2ss Barbaros - 10ss +Nephilim Gladiatus - 1ss Mr. Graves - 8ss Nekima - 13ss +Fears Given Form - 1ss Terror Tot - 4ss Terror Tot - 4ss Given my extremely limited experience, I don't know if that's reasonable or not. Right now, I have the Neverborn half of the starter, Lilith's box (With Primordial Magic instead of the Cherub), Nekima and Graves, so I don't have a ton of options for swapping.
  2. I'm all theory craft, but generally it seems like you need to choose what you're going to do with Pandora - there's the "melee" Pandora, who gets up in people's faces and uses their own abilities against them (or just does area damage and forces WP duels for more damage and moves) or there's the "paralyze" Pandora, who is going to be focused on using The Voice to paralyze a number of models a game. The box seems to be much more melee focused, and in that case 2 Sorrows seems like the max. You can keep them alive with Pandora and Candy, and just murder people with failed WP duels, 1 HP at a time.
  3. Sticks and Stones has a good episode on Pandora (I am literally listening to it as I type this), and they also recently put out a Budget Neverborn article that has a melee pandora list. It's basically "Get Insidious Madness and Iggy."
  4. Seems like the feedback on both sides is "Get Lynch, duh!" And then his box came up on a trade site for $20, so I got Lynch, duh! Thanks all!
  5. Given that I forgot to list the Lone Swordsman, as Godzilla pointed out, does he fill that big beater role? He certainly *seems* to....
  6. Just forgot to list him, but I do have him! And the Shadow Emissary is high on my list. The Schemes & Stones discussion of the Emissary drawing 3 cards a turn with a Low River Monk seems too good to turn down.
  7. I bought a Lynch box today, given the consistent feedback on both sides. Seemed serendipitous that someone would post one up on a trade board for $20 as everyone tells me to buy it, so couldn't say no!
  8. I am very new to Malifaux, and was gifted in to my collection. I ended up with 10T and Neverborn (and I posted this same question over in the NB boards) as a base. I'm trying to look forward and plan where to go in 10T next. Right now, I have a Shen Long box plus a few - Shen Long, Peasants, Sensei Yu, High River Monks, Low River Monks, 10T Archers, Katanaka snipers, Mr. Graves and 10T Brothers. I'm wondering if there are any other 10T masters that I can pick up who will be able to do most of what they need with their box and what I have. Ideally with no extra models, but realistically, with the purchase of a couple models. If those couple models are also useful to the faction as a whole, that would be ideal.... From the Neverborn side, it seems like I have most of a Jacob Lynch list already, but I'm not really sure what he does on the 10T side.
  9. Semi-necro post, but it seems appropriate in our forums. I think part of the issue, from my completely non-playing it, but listening to people talk about it, is the idea that you should grow a Tot in to a Mature (or even bigger, spawn a tot, grow a tot in to a mature). Realistically, in a 5-7 turn game, that's a lot of commitment. However, as people have mentioned, the idea of turning a Young in to a Mature at some point (I don't think I'd want to turn a Tot in to a Young unless you're just spoiled for scheme markers and have all the options covered) can be useful, I think. If you have an upgrade slot, and you're playing a Young Neph, put Rapid Growth on Nekima/Barbaros/Lilith/whatever is in the middle. Run the Young as a flanker to your main beatstick, and play them together. Then, when you do get the kill, you've got reasonable odds that it'll flip the Young to a Mature. You might lose an AP doing it, but you've also turned a reasonable threat in to a big threat, which can be worth the AP. Personally, I'm going to try the Angel Eyes route, because I think she can position and kill in such a way that she can trigger it without a huge opportunity cost. We'll see if it works. I think it's going to be fun in any case.
  10. So I'm reasonably new. I was gifted in to Malifaux for the most part, and ended up in Neverborn and 10T (although I'm a Legion player in WMH, so probably would have ended up here anyway). Right now, I have Lilith and her box (Barbaros, 3 Terror Tots, 2 Young, 1 Mature), Angel Eyes, Nekima, a couple Bloodwretches, a Scion of the Black Blood, Primordial Magic, Pandora, Baby Kade, 3 Sorrows, Candy, and Mr. Graves. I'm likely going to pick up a Doppleganger and a couple Beckoners. So my question isn't the usual "What do I get next" but rather a flip of it - what master can I pick up that will best synergize with what I have already? Jakob Lynch would be nice, since he's 10T as well, but the 10T that I have aren't really good for him, and I don't *think* my mix really works with him (though I could be wrong). So I'm wondering who my best bet would be to easily add another master. I'd *like* the answer to be Titania, because she looks awesome, but I'm not sure. Ideally, it would be a Master that could work straight with their box and my stuff, but realistically, I expect I'd need to buy a couple models to supplement.
  11. So, since my Neverborn mostly consist of this box, and I really like the look of Titania, is this something that has been borne out? I'm an extremely new player, so I don't really have the experience yet, but I'd love to have her as my second master.
