If you activate "(1) Gremlin cunning: This model's controller draw 2 cards and then place 3 cards from her hand on top of her deck" within 6 of Sammy LaCroix triggering "Winds of fate: Once per turn, when another model draws a card, this model may discard a card to draw a card". What would be the order of Draw/Discard in this case? Assuming the "game freezing mode" of the triggers and the fact that is missing the word "after the current action is complete" from winds of fate, I would say: Draw 2 (x Merri) Discard 1 (x Sammy) Draw 1 (x Sammy) Put back 3 cards (x Merri)

  5. I don't agree with this, I mean - on first look they might seem overpowered. However, after few games I've found it pretty balanced - little bit underpowered cause of the missing synergies. I'm speaking of the gremlin one, at least. Don't know about the others...but this outcast emissary looks fine as well imo.
  6. I don't like mah, too niche. It maybe good, sometimes... But somer is the most versatile of the green master...so you will play him much more than mah. Only pity is that trixiebelle is an awesome piece, extremely strong and versatile...much more than lenny. Definitively somer
  7. This is right...but we forgot a must-element of resser team. Yesterday night, speaking with my kirai friends we talked about this....and he said "Oh yeah, but hen I lure with a belle one or a couple of your models...and gg?" Think is almost very true...too much true Think you need to out-activate or activate the middle model in companion to get something out of it
  8. You are right! Unfortunately, I'm less than 2 months old with gremlin and I'm trying to test more models possible...and I can't do effective list all the times. I need to put random things together and try the most every game. Surely, I will use less synergies and I won't be able to evaluate models at their best...but likely at their average to worst. Still, it gives you an idea on how model does because - imo - even if you do a full synergic team the models must be capable of doing something on its own (mostly if they cost 8) or you will find yourself with something useless when things go wrong! Next time I'll do the crew around pigs and see what happen

  10. I agree, too strong. I kinda can agree with you regarding the sub-optimal placement due to base contact. I've made few drawings and it came out that you loose a very small part due to this, so the cases when in game it makes difference...are probably a very small amount. But we have to agree to agree that placing in base contact force you to spend AP to move in the best spot before use it (even if the mobility of this model is indeed the best of the game) ...while other model can just place it wherever they want without spending AP to move in position I see the use of mecha pork to boost charge of MAh...but why the rest of the team is heavily about survivors and sparks?

  13. So, I've followed your ideas and keep trying the big pig! Just a quick tale.... Yesterday night I've applied two Swill to Nekima and then charged her straight away with a very proud "The Sow" . She was half wounded...but I was able to MISS both attacks and - holy moly - being killed in response! Nekima passed the terror with incredible "skill" and then...she hit the third attack and flip a cool red joker on the damages....kabooooom Are these gods trying to tell me "leave your pig in the bag"? Because I suppose so P.s. I still find it - despite this insane situation - pretty hard to use because in order to don't make it an easy killable target...you have to play it defilate and can't really charge or hit a lot with it. Do your opponent let him charge then straight away? Because mine, don't Unless I out-activate them...making it bad with Brewy and good with Som'er / Ulix.
  14. exactly. With saddle gracie or ophelia pushes you easily keep up on turn 1 (maybe2 if lucky)....but as you wrote than the game starts and poor lenny find himself behind looking his team with comforting distance when lucky, he can try to shoot for new bacon
  15. Surely constrain you in sub-optimal movement and place, but I believe - sometimes - it might be very helpful. Consider you have also the blocking terrain, so you can "abuse" of them to halve the quantity of models necessary to block each other. Moreover, if you have a narrow passage between two of them, you can virtually move your team as a chess-grid being everywhere immune to Ikyro. Anyway, I would use this as a chance to take a safe shoot to take down lost love and - forbidding him to summon ikyro - their crew would have only one malevolence aura...things will be easier from now on. The only positive part - vs resser - is that they usually don't shoot so you don't really have to worry to stay in cover and keep this formation to block summoning, or it would be nearly impossible.
  16. I Partially disagree, I mean I use them for scheme objectives more than to hard beat something. I find the elite like Burt, Raphael, Rami, etc...much more effective and reliable if you need to beat something and spread dmg. Instead, if you need to run schemes like detonate charges, setup...and so on...they are just the better models in the game Mobility is just over the top, literally too much.

True and not true...Zipp must place the markers into base contact with it, so it has to loose movement points to get in position and the markers will be positioned sub.optimal because they all have to touch it.... The Raspu-Sonnia and also Lilith and friends LoS blocking markers...are insanely strong because they are touching each other and positionable far away...just ridiculous strong. They shouldn't be there in this game imo I agree with this...High rams in hand or SS are perfectly fine to trigger kaboom! Furthermore, I hate Lenny for the moment...tried it few times but too slow to keep up with the crew and stupidly low WP/DF
  18. Thanks for the hint. Indeed a good team and definitively a huge potential for the pult. But does it worth all those SS ? Are you usually happy about what it can do? Because you're investing 60% of your SS there, pretty insane!! p.s. why the piglet?
  19. How you'd get max from pigapult? would you surround and feed with stuffed piglets? Isn't too much expensive being like 8+2+2+2+2 = 16 SS or what mechanics do you use to keep it shooting? I've always wondered...never used it yet.

Indeed they are...problem is that you have to hire them before discover your opponent Sure merry, thinking about it, looks a very versatile model to hire if you have couple of schemes based on interact / scheme markers. Zoraida is surely a boom vs this crew...how is vs Resser in general? Wp is above average - I guess - having pretty low def? Absolutely true, but if the schemes can be achieved without killing, I suspect that hiring Kirai is not the best choice! I think she shines when crew are forced to fight. Yeah, that's the team I've played yesterday but with Ophelia, I feel is more effective when you have to do pure DMG !! Strategy was headhunter so not really need to summon around. It worked out, but I feel that playing Kirai better would have destroyed me..that's why I'm searching for tips
  22. You made my day !! I didn't read the card, so I didn't know she has to summon into base contact!! This makes thing much, much easier to counter. You can play with positioning, use the blocking terrains and shoot with model in the middle onto lost love to take it away and remove one of the aura...or just kill what you have to....and the ikyro won't pop-up Surely it's not easy, but it's a very possible workaround. And yeah, trixiebelle is definitively strong...More I play Gremlin, more I can't see a crew without her...she does too much and - ofc - she cheat the initiative

After few games vs Kirai, I think we might have a problem with it (of course, only when the schemes are bloody and you have to constantly keep attacking and activating the Malevolence aura) Best idea came to my mind, is to deny vision from attacked model and the source of the malevolence...problem? GREMLIN are freaking small...all Ht1 so you can't really block LoS. Gremlin - generally speaking - have huge amount of damage but they are kinda soft to slice...so every time you shoot or beat something, the Ikyro will punish you pretty hard. Any idea on how to deal with Kirai and its aura? Surely, discard his hands with Som'er is game changer, but if you don't run it? Its crew usually suffers from CA action which are only ligthning bugs? but again, they will be likely 1shotted from the spawned Ikyro. Also....what do you usually run as master / model vs resser? Because you are only find out if Kirai is there after the cards are revealed, of course
  24. Tables look nice, I would say the "best" table for tournament or GG2016 games are somewhat in the middle between the two options you've posted. I think that have table too much filled like the pictures of "Bayou wars" is too much penalizing for model with 40 and 50 mm bases...they are likely to be unusable. Very nice tables, anyway
