Seems fine to me honestly. It's not the reason to take him but it taxes your opponents hand a bit and that's all to the good.

I would have really appreciated a way to use blight on friendlies. Otherwise I like it. I've been hiring Rat Catchers with Ham1 since the summon changes and I'll continue to do that. Maybe Benny too... I think I'll use the various vermin pushing triggers to jam up the crew sort of thing. The truck will be on getting value from the rats as rats.
-
New Ivan looks a lot like what I hoped Lucius could be. Depending on what those plans do... Man this is a cool model.

That bonus action was a big part of why I played Hamelin before. I like the look of new Hamelin a lot but I think he'll be primarily an offensive obey master - he's got two enemy only triggers on that attack after all.
I think this Hamelin does more rat summoning throughout the turn and notably doesn't blow the things up so I think you're more likely to eat them as snacks, kill them for scheme markers, that sort of thing. You also probably don't Inevitable Fate your stolen much with this version.

I'll probably go with Back in Jack over the original by default. He plays better with my toolbox-y approach to the game and plays better with the utility pieces I like to bring - Crooked Men, Dead Outlaws, Jaakuna - while also being able to flex more in hiring because he's way less card hungry.
Hit the Road Jack I'd probably bring if the table was well set up for the sort of jump scare skirmishing he does so well, or if the schemes/strat/matchup just scream double Hanged.

Caveat - one of my main opponents is 10T and old Daw just didn't have a game into them so I've only run him a handful of times.
Crooked Men are very affordable little toolboxes. Earthquake is great for shooting into a scrum and setting up targets for Daw or taking advantage of already staggered models to draw.
Between Earthquake targeting Mv and Mining Tools ignoring triggers he can crack a lot of weirdly tough models (new Nexus, for instance).
The triggers on Malifaux Mining Law unlock some schemes the crew may otherwise struggle with and you've got the card draw to hit them as needed. Plus he's tough, and the crew can move him around quite a bit.

Jokes on you wyrd, I took crooked men already anyway.

It is once per activation for the free suit, but still.
It's not what I wanted Lucius to be, but it did some very cool stuff. I can't see taking Lucy1 at this point - there are reasons to take him, I just can't see doing it when Lucy2 shifts gears better and generates more weird lines of play.

Two guardians, 46, Doppelganger was a pretty good gg1 list. Lure and lots of pushes to maximize Greatsword... Pretty solid. Even better with the new push rules.
Remember that 46 can copy Lure to delay the Doppelganger's activation, and you draw cards when you spend your own pass tokens.

I'm so excited any time someone has a good run with Lucius and so depressed that his best play truly is just, "mimic highly efficient actions, obey, profit." I want my janky, teleporting, suicide king back damnit! Ah well, maybe his title will be cool.
That being said, good job rocking out with one of the more brain-sludge-inducing Masters in the game. I'm glad you had fun with him

When I was running 'Dita Franc got LLC, while she stayed safe just playing the edges. This was gg1 though, and I was playing against melee crews.
I like Santiago a lot for his combination of threat and utility. 'Dita2 generates enough ooa attacks that his Grit seems genuinely frightening.

Just want to say, I think Guild may have scored the best title change thus far. The Perdita title is simply superb, totally changes how you view Family, feel like this will be the absolute clear majority version played when Perdita sees the table.
While I've almost across the board loved the titles this one has stood out. Really hoping our last trilogy of masters approach being as cool as this one.
Have you seen new McMourning?

This is the second title that makes the crew play the way I play it with fewer hoops to jump through 😛
Obviously I love it.

I hope their sculpts are paired together fighting over a 50mm hat.
The shared model is actually just The Hat. It's a 4ss enforcer, works a bit like Cooper's totems.

Love the bone saw/staple gun combo 😛

The real Levi nerf is how boring he is to play...
-
I love to see mostly crews like I run doing well 😛
Was it just the tournament format that kept you from running the usual suspects, or did you feel pretty comfortable with these crews?

I don't find Aionus necessary as-is. In fact I might be more likely to run him in Tara2 for slow shenanigans.

There's already a lot of Guild/Outcast overlap for example. Three keywords confirmed I think.

I also like the more stealthy looking Cooper with the hooded cape.
Not sure what is going on with the antlers behing though. Is it on his back? Is there a full skull with there too? I would guess so with the vibe he has going on.
I was looking at those as tree branches - like he's carrying a blind around on his back.

A better proxy option may be to get a set of Puppet Wars models - the death marshal puppet may as well be a Brutal, and then you'll be using wyrd minis too!

Do the hosts have strong master preferences? I guessed Von Schill, Ironsides, and Zoraida but I don't listen to RQW.

Lucius is six letters...

She certainly makes my Tara playstyle a lot easier to execute.

Lucius was the character that sold me on the game in 2e. His 3e incarnation doesn't ooze the same amount of character, but Nellie absolutely does, the sculpts for Elite and Marshal keywords are awesome.
