We will be having a 50 soulstone tournament at: The Only Game in Town 211 W Main St, Somerville, NJ 08876 (908) 725-7077 on 5/9/15 (Saturday). Registration begins at 12, games begin at 12:30. Follows standard gaining grounds rules including painting requirement.

So, after the success of our last league, we will be running a single master league at the Only Game in Town in Somerville, NJ. We will start on 3/25 with a terrain paint day. everyone who participates receives 6 points. Once per league achievements: Purchase something from the store-2 points Purchase something malifaux related (must be wyrd product)- 5 points purchase snack or drink for TO- 2 points Other points: play a game: 2 points win a game: 1 point win a game without cheating fate: 1 point. paint a model: 1 point Week 1: 26 points, standard, turf war, line in the sand, break through, cursed object, take prisoner week 2: 35 points, flank, reckoning, line in the sand, protect territory, bodyguard, make them suffer, distract, week 3: 40 points, corners, squatters rights, line in the sand, assassinate, deliver a message, distract, murder protege week 4: 50 points, close, stake a claim, line in the sand, body guard, assassinate, power ritual, plant evidence Players can log up to 2 games per week. We will be running a painting competition simultaneously with the league.

Starting a Rapid Growth League at The Only Game in Town in Somerville, NJ on 2/17/15. We are going to follow the rapid growth rules found here: http://wyrd-games.net/community/files/file/156-rapid-growth/ with 2 exceptions. #1 is that the league is single master, #2 is that we will run a terrain paint day on 2/10/15 and participating in it is worth 5 points. We will run a painting competition alongside the league. Each player can enter 1 model. $10 entry. All participants get a NJ scheme marker, store credit prizes to league winner, painting competition winner, and a random participant!

On October 5th (Sunday) we will be running a 40 soulstone tournament at The Only Game in Town in Somerville, NJ. Registration begins at 12:00, pairings announced at 12:30. Standard Rules, no painting requirement. Prizes will be in store credit based on participation for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. 1rst will also receive a custom scheme marker.

It is not mandatory to play the game on Tuesdays, just post a message in our Facebook group (NJ Jackalopes) with the days you can come in and someone will usually be around to play!

We will be starting a slow grow league at The Only Game in Town in Somerville, NJ. The league will begin September 2nd and continue till September 30th. Players can gain points as follows: -Play a game 2 points. (can only log 2 games per week) -Win a game 2 points. -play against a player who you had not played against this league 1 point -Paint a model (up to one full crew box) 1 point per model. Models must be unpainted at the beginning of the league. Each player chooses a single crew box and faction at the beginning of the league. -Week 1: 25 point games with only models from the crew box -Week 2: 35 point games with models from the crew box -Week 3: 35 point games must use the master and henchman from the crew box but may add other models in -Week 4: 40 point games using at least 1 model from the crew box. A painting competition will take place simultaneously with the league. Each player can enter 1 model into the painting competition. The model must be unpainted at the beginning of the league. (Primer ok) Each player will get a custom scheme marker. The winner of the league and the painting competition will get wooden scheme markers as well. The winner of the league, the winner of the painting competition, and a randomly selected participant will also win store credit determined by participation.

Also there will be 2 open casual play tables whenever there are no tourneys. Feel free to come out and play as much as you want with whatever masters you want.

So this is the first year that malifaux is at dexcon, and they want to use this year to build/guage interest. If there is enough people that come to the events, and get demos then next year we can have a full weekend of awesome tourneys! I think they will have event sign up on site. Our demo and casual play malifaux will open at 11am tomorow. I will be there around 5-6 hanging around the convention (brown brown coats shirt, black shorts, brown nj sobs hat).

So now that our league is wrapping up, we are going to have our first casual beginner friendly tournament on a Tuesday night. So we are off to a good start with establishing a new play group at The Only Game in Town in Somerville, NJ. We still have a lot of terrain wit only a primer coat on it, and we are looking to rectify that! We will be having a hobby day on Friday June 27th from about 3pm-7pm to get it all painted up. Terrain and terrain materials will be provided, feel free to bring some brushes, paint, and plastic safe primer would definitely be appreciated! So Dexcon is a large convention in NJ for RPGs, LARPs, Boardgames, etc. They are trying to build up their wargaming community and I was approved to run Malifaux Demos on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. In addition we will have 2 small fun events on Saturday for more experienced Malifaux players. It looks like a big convention with plenty to do, and 1 price gets you into almost everything! The first event will take place late afternoon, and will be an enforcer brawl. Each player gets 10 points to spend on a single enforcer, upgrades, and soulstones (no killjoy!). 3-8 players will then enter their enforcer in the arena for a free for all battle. 4 card hand, enforcers can use soulstones, and you get 1 point for each model killed, 2 points for being the last model standing. We will run as many rounds as possible in a 2 hour timeframe. The second event will take place at night, and will be a 4-8 person 2 round Hardcore tournament with only 2 tables. What that means is if we get 4 or less players we will have hardcore singles, if we have 5 or more then we will have hardcore teams. 20 soulstone, henchman led crews, 4 model maximum, No Painting requirement. feel free to message me any questions!

So I have a crew box of the victorias that are a little bit bigger. (Gencon miscast). They are assembled but no paint or primer. I would like to trade them for a standard plastic victorias box, or nekima with a few neverborn extras.
