  1. Haha when it comes to miniatures? Sure! I certainly dig some of the gothic horror elements of Malifaux.
  2. Thanks!! I imagine that a, even larger and scarier, monster would shove the giant key into the meat of the bear's back. As it slowly turns, residual blood slowly seeps out. Lovely thoughts!
  3. Thank you for the kind words! The moment this beautiful (I use that word loosely since it's a giant bloody stitched together bear lol) fig in my hands, I knew I had to immediately paint and convert it. It jumped to the front of the line, before all my Marcus stuff that I'm actually using in a league I'm running lol.
  4. I'm about halfway done with my new teddy and I must say I love the model! Where the original fig looked like a great creepy stuffed toy, the new one is scarier IMO because it looks like a real bear that was skinned and stretched over a construct. I made a turn key out of plasticard and I'm claiming first on the idea! :-) Hope you all like!
  5. Yea, that's exactly my plan as well. Find any good substitute saw blades?
  6. I've really enjoyed the podcasts thus far!! I can't wait for the second part of the wave 2 masters analysis!
  7. Yet, somehow Cojo still shipped with a 40mm base in the claw and fang box.
  8. I love conversions and custom models! The idea creating my own scheme/scrap/corpse markers (instead of printed tokens) is too good to pass up. As I'm finishing up my sixth scrap marker and fourth scheme token, I'm wondering... How many is too many? I have a wide spread of crews accross factions. My Ramos crew, in particular, will love a bunch of scrap markers. Eventually as I expand in to Nicodem, I envision mannny corpse markers will be used. Any thoughts? I'd love to hear what people use and how many.
  9. I picked up a 1st Ed brass arachnid to use, with some conversions. The new plastic one will go on a 50mm base and be a large arachnid.
  10. Fuhatsu looks great! And based upon his fluff, the model fits perfectly.
  11. Warstore has a number of things still listed for march: -Govs Proxy -Som'er -Ophelia -Dawn Serpent *Fingers Crossed* Here's hoping! Pretty please!!
  12. Was hoping that we'd see some gremlin love for march... But Im thrilled for all the other previews!
  13. Wait.. What? I'm going to have to give this a listen.
  14. Thanks for the replies! There are some great tips here!
  15. I'm a new player to malifaux, but I'm accumulating alot of experience with 2E. I'm loving Marcus and all the options available to him! That being said, I'm having mixed results with Cojo. Love the model (with some conversions), but I have trouble getting him downfield where I want him to be. Any have any advice or ideas?
  16. Also.. I somehow just missed the similar thread on Hamelin in outcasts subforum. Apologies! Oops.
  17. Hey all! So, I'm finally getting time explore the wave 2 outcast masters and wowie wow wow I like the look of Hamelin. I've always been a fan of GW nurgle themes and especially my carnival of chaos gang from mordheim way back in the day. I may have to paint Hamelin in a similar theme when he eventually comes out. I'm a pure Malifaux 2e new guy, but I've become pretty experienced. Has anyone tried finalized Hamelin yet? I'd love to hear any list building strategies or play tips. Thanks!
  18. I'm excited to see how these (and more) turn out. I'm looking to paint my Cerberus in a similar way.
  19. Thanks for the reply! Is there a way raspy can summon more? Or maybe that was her avatar version I heard about..
  20. Hi! So I'm brand new to the game. Picked up 2E and I'm loving it thus far. I have Jakob Lynch crew and a small Guild collection. I'm looking to get another themed set and Rasputina really caught my eye. When I pick up a box I was wondering about the ice gamin. I've heard mixed feelings on them and I was wondering it its worth picking up an extra set of three in addition to the base box. thanks for the help!
