@Thulis. I live about an hour north of you, near Fredericksburg. If your up this way, let me know. I sometimes come to Richmond to kayak as well, so next time I'm down, I'll bring my minis and get two hobbies done in one day.

I played using the DG last night. I found when you flip a 2, 3, 3 for initiative, you'll still get beat. When on the next turn you flip a 4, and then ss for a re-flip because you really want init, and then get another 4, you still get beat. So IMO, it's not too OP for the cost.

Thanks to all. For the first one, I was thinking since MZs are corpse counters, my friends may argue they couldn't be made. However, since Nico's ability says the same thing, I have my counter argument. If I wanted to argue the hiring, I would say empty vessel is a hiring effect that affects both the hiring and hired model, but I think RAI they shouldn't be on the same crew and will leave it alone. -
I've been looking at Leveticus lately, and since I have Nicodim, a few questions popped up. 1. If Nico kills an enemy desolation engine with decay or a cane strike and triggers Empty Vessel, what is generated? a). 3 mindless zombies and 2 Steam punk abominations, or just the SPAs If Leveticus is leading a brawl, can he use pariah to take Nico as the second master via embrace death? Does eternally shackled happen at the start or end of the closing phase? Thanks

That's not me, but I come to huzzah every now and then since it's close to my friends house. I live near Fredericksburg and am trying to gen up interest at the local game store there.

That clears it up nicely and closes the thread which previously ended with a 'I'll post more later, but for now use this'. The question about where the counters are placed comes up frequently for me since I have a friend who plays McMourning and I just finished a Nico crew. I'll point him here as well.

Hi I just started playing Malifaux with some friends near Washington, DC about 2 months ago. I started with Ophelia, then grabbed Zoraida. I'm hooked though so I also picked up pandora, som'er teeth, Marcus, Nicodem avatars for som'er, zoraida, and nicodem, and many other models to round out the crews. I've still got about half my models to paint, but I'm having a blast so far.
