    From what i've read and been told. Those triggers happen after the model blows up/shatters/etc. So run through and knockback lose a bit of their usefulness.

    i was thinking that too, but i thinking it'd be pretty good for sewers, and maybe some buildings, and forts like the ortegas.

    http://modestmagic.com/ Just ran across this website with some great looking pieces for building terrain and buildings. Looks like right now they're a brick style only, but with so many different types i think you could build just about any thing. Best part it is not that expensive from what i can tell. Take a look if you'd rather buy (and modify) than build from scratch.

    From what i've seen there are a few that go pop: papa loco, pere ravage, stuffed piglets, fire gamin, ice golem and gamin, witchling stalkers, and rail golems (3" blast). Taelor can hit most of these no worries, but everyone else is going to take some pain if you don't have her.

    In my last few games i've run up a few too many enemies that just go pop and deal some nasty damage. Sadly with most Vik minions you'll be primarily melee. So i'm starting to even out my load with range and melee. So Hans, Trapper, Gunslingers are taking up more soulstones.

    The ability says any undead from another another faction at no additional cost. Doesn't the card rule supercede the book rule?

    under the rules on page 9 of the small book and it says they are immune to morale so which wins out the rule book or pandoras card? Wouldn't some spells/triggers cause morale duels as well?

    does the ability "the Box Opens" also remove Immune to Influence, Lifer and strips immunity of moral duels from models that are immune to moral duels (constructs, undead, spirits and soulless)?

    So her spells won't trigger fading memory because it's a Casting duel, not a WP duel. See things like that could really cause later problems for my fiancee and me....i don't like sleeping on the couch.

    My fiancee recently started playing malifaux and picked up pandora. I don't have much experience with her so i'm left with a nagging question. what constitutes a WP duel for emotional trauma, emotional stress, and fading memory? is it just wp -> wp Duel, or duels where WP is the resist such as for spells, and strikes, etc. I'd like to get a definate idea so i don't teach her wrong.

    Turn 4 - mei fang fails moral duel and falls back. Turn 5 - Kang uses rousing speech. Mei fang is in the zone and has not activated yet. Does mei Feng count as entering rally and cannot activate or is she rallied and allowed to activate normally.

    Against Sonnia and Rasputina she's pretty durable mid board. With counterspell and friekorps armor most of their spells are harmless against her. I've seen face cards and soulstones wasted trying to drop her and a tome saves the day.

    Librarian is pretty awesome. Especially comboed with Sue. His hurt feeds your hand and circle of flame keeps her from being charged or attacked. her furious healing almost always puts him back to full health. throw in a Student and they're pretty resilient together. Sadly they're really slow so they will usually be stuck in the back field denying something. Leaving Viks and others to move forward.

    That can be pretty painful at 3", but most likely not used too often.

    You've got to remember with this game there isn't much reason to make a set list. The different schemes and strategies will be be harsher on some crew choices than others. you've got some good foundations with the viks and ronins, but try to taelor your crew for the strategy, schemes and Faction (not master because thats usually unknown until after crew selection).

    I think you've misunderstood me. I'm trying to figure out if a doppleganger could have emotional trauma and the emotional stress abilities on the same model if i'm reading the rules right. I should've worded my previous statement better.

    Emotional Tramau and Emotional Stress are different names so they're not the same ability. On page 20 of the rule book it says "- Do stack when received from talents or spells with different names." So while Death Marshals can't stack their finish the job. A doppleganger could take emotional stress and emotional trauma and if a model fails a wound within 3" of her they'll be taking a wound for both.

    Be aware that melee master on lazarus will go away unless you have scrap counters to spend. With this game pre-planned lists just are not efficient enough for me because of the variety of schemes and strategies. so i'd say only take lazarus if your opponent is taking Guild or Arcanists.

    You are correct. I took a look at the FAQ and see where that is outlined. Oh how i wish it was true....it'd take away a little sting from that black joker.

    Doesn't seem worth it with the amount of dg on a weak flip with fury. Even a flip of a Black joker will still do 2 dg i believe. I still think a +dg flip would be more useful unless they errata and it's added to final duel total rather than combat total.
