  1. About the only way I'd be ok with a nerf for Yan2 is if Wyrd announced a massive overhaul where every faction was getting reworked to try and balance out the Masters.
  2. I'm on the other side of the fence here. I wont argue that Yan isnt good(potentially one of Rezzers best), but I don't think he's broken at all. I've had his crew torn apart easily by players that know how to tech into him and who they need to target. Shockwaves are a bane on his existence or any Mv targeting crews. The Take the Hit trick is good, but I've only gotten it off once against any opponent. He is so reliant on triggers that you either need to take a large cache which limits your hires and runs dry quickly, or get lucky and draw into the suits you need. Lord help you if he goes against something that passes out a lot of stunned. Again, not saying he is bad by any means, but I don't see the brokenness that you guys seem to see. I think he competes with other factions S tier masters.
  3. I feel like Yan2 while already a great master just became like the number 1 pick if not contender for number 1 in a guard the stash round. So many ways to yoink enemy's of the markers. Which probably makes him great for Covert Ops as well
  4. That round is Wedge deployment. I was thinking Seamus for that round since he can jump to whatever point he's needed at and can potentially delete a model off a point as well. Only issue is my Seamus hasn't come in yet. So looking for alternatives.
  5. I know it's only been a short while since the reveal of GG3 but I'm sure at least some of you have gotten some games in. I've been trying to make lists around a tournament coming up but I find myself a little lost. So for those of you that have gotten games in of GG3 who are you favoring for the new strats? I'm looking to focus on being able to score 4 for the strat each game and if I can score schemes as well then that's fine and dandy. For the 3 rounds we have Corrupted Objects, Guard the Stash, and Covert Operations.
  6. @Cranky Old Man any specific version? Or are both an issue for you? Our best TT player has been focusing Youko2 and Lynch2 so I've yet to see Shen on the table. I have faced off against a pair of charm warders and they are nasty.
  7. @Maniacal_cackle What about nephilim gives you issue? My meta used to have a bunch of neverborn players but now I think we only have one and I've yet to see him play Nephilim.
  8. What masters/ keywords do you hate to hear announced against you as a rezzer player? Maybe they just seem to have an answer for all things rezzers or maybe it just your friend who plays one crew that you just can't seem to win against. Either way, let me know who your arch nemesis is!
  9. Found a post where this is discussed. Disregard this post
  10. So in the rules it clearly states that in all cases except movement when you have a fraction of a number you round up to the nearest whole number. With this in mind what is half wounds for a model with 11 wounds? Is it 6 or 5?
  11. @Diceman87 Thanks, that's what I thought it was but wanted to clarify.
  12. If a rule states that a marker must be on the opponents table half, not completely/ just on, does that mean if even a fraction of the marker is over the center line that it can be considered on the opponents half? Or does it still have to be completely, or a majority of the marker?
  13. My only concern for terror is if my opponent runs Levi2. I had an idea for a Seamus1 w/ McMourning1 list, I know dirty double master, but in my meta it's kind of standard. Think it could put out a lot of damage and Seamus has a lot of mobility to get to where he needs to.
  14. What would be your go to against Outcasts in a heavy kill oriented pool? Were talking Turf War with Assassinate, Vendetta, and Let Them Bleed, also Catch and Release and Detonate Charges?
  15. Just tried out Daw1 last night and wow he can be oppressive. The game was a little wonky since both me and my opponent took crews we had never played before. He took Nexus2 with a total of 13 models in his crew. I took 2x Hanged w/ Whisper, Monty, 2x Guilty, and a Bonepile. Strat was Corrupted Leylines which after playing it out I'm not sure it's Daws best scenario but it wasn't terrible. For Schemes I took Assassinate and Claim Jump on Monty. My opponent took Spread Them Out, and Detonate Charges. Turn 1 I ran a Guilty up the middle of the board and was able to slingshot one of the Hanged into a cluster of his models. The second Hanged jumped up to the guilty but couldn't make the second shot into my opponent. Daw moved up and was able to give out an upgrade but couldn't jump into the crew since the spellcaster had an aura from Dr Meredith where you can't end movement near it. Turn 2 Daw dragged Lady Ligeia into a large clump of enemy's, passed out some upgrades and then pulsed to give 3 models slow. This really messed with my opponents turn and truly showcased how oppressive Daw can be. If my opponent didn't have 13 models I think this one activation alone could have won me the game. The rest of the game was me killing a bunch of his models with only 1 of my Hanged going down after multiple turns of my opponent trying to kill it. But due to the fact that my opponent had 3 Master models and multiple totems that he can make significant the game ended in a tie. Some takeaways from the game, Daw is very oppressive and deceptively quick to engage, but feels like a one trick pony in that regard, like my opponent immediately commented on it after the game saying he should have just nuked the guilty when I ran it up so I couldn't slingshot off of it. Once engaged Daw is fantastic but if he needs to pivot seems a little tricky to disengage since you want to be in the middle of their crew. The rest of his crew minus the Hanged also feel quite slow. I didn't feel like I had a good football carrier for Leylines. I like 2 Hanged but maybe drop one for something that can run schemes better? What are your go to for scheme running in a Daw crew?
  16. Wait seriously? I thought they were ignored for schemes and strats?
  17. What are some tricks of his for scheme marker dropping? He's got Don't Mind Me, and when you knock off a Spare Head upgrade. Is there something else I'm missing? I have heard that summoner are good at leylines a few times and I'm not seeing what makes them so good at it. What am I missing? Is it just that you can throw spare bodies at your opponents to slow their football carrier down?
  18. I think this is closer to the issue at heart. I can't speak for anyone else but I know that my meta tends to look for the dumbest most broken combos and runs them until either someone complains or they get bored of winning all the time. Currently TT and Arcanists are trouncing our tournament scene and nobody has come up with an answer yet. And our TT is not using Yan2 or any of his keyword. I think he is very strong, and may appear broken in Metas that aren't always running hyper competitive. But currently in my meta Yan2 just let's me put my foot on the stage with our top competitors.
  19. I have now played about 5 games with Yan, some of them in a tournament, and while I do think he is very strong I also think there are plenty of ways to counter him. Especially if your opponent has any clue what to expect from his crew. If I announce Yan2 in my play group now my opponents immediately take anti-armor tech, Shockwave attacks, irreducible damage, and stuns. Now to be fair a lot of that was already in a lot of the lists I face regularly anyways but now my opponents are aware of the need for it against Yan2. What this typically means is Yan is going to get about 2 turns of speedy movement before my opponent hard focuses the dogs off the board. Even that's not 100% guaranteed if my opponent has a way of alphaing across the board with something designed to kill them. In the tournament I faced a TT player who has several more games of Yan2 under his belt and he took Youko2 and McCabe2, McCabe came all the way across the board by turn 2 and had killed 3 of my 4 minions. To be fair, that was only my second game with Yan2 so I only had a base knowledge of what they do. My point is though, Yan2 is very good, potentially even one of if not the best Rezzer Master in my opinion. But he is a far cry from broken.
  20. So what sort of game are you looking for that scream McM2? What are his biggest weaknesses? Are there factions you'll often take him into or factions you avoid taking him into?
  21. Load up a mindless zombie with poison 3 Kill the zombie It drops a marker for horrendous corpse It drops a marker for dying Recyle Reduce Reuse lets you slap the model back on the table (check with your TO that your meta plays it this way). Mindless zombie is at 0 health so dies again. Drops a marker for horrendous corpse Drops a marker for dying. RRR draws a card. So is this actually a thing? I understand the idea behind it, but it feels like a major stretch and not rules as intended. If it is though it's a trick I'll have to learn for McMourning2
  22. Maybe I'm misunderstanding, @Maniacal_cackle what is the 4 marker trick?
  23. I did try Yan2 into this matchup and that was the closest I've come to beating it. I think with a few more practice games with Yan2 it could be a viable option. I actually just picked up Daw and plan on trying him out soon. He looks super oppressive.
  24. Ok thanks for clarification, I know you said you aren't going to debate right or wrongness but this ruling is so messed up. It's such an easy fix as well. I declare your model as the target of my attack. You must declare if you are using TTH or some other target changing ability. We now begin the duels as if I had targeted that model all along, so any defensive abilities you have go off as well as any offensive abilities I have.
