  1. Depending on what your local meta is like and how you prefer to play, I would suggest an Exorcist to add Magical support and then either an Austringer, Niño or a Pale Rider. The latter 3 all add much needed ranged support to LJ's starter box to varying degrees.
  2. LCB's One Master rule means he activates immediately upon The Dreamer being buried/dying, so Pandora can't Pacify him until after he's completed his activation anyway, at which point she may continue. Surely that's how this scenario plays out?
  3. I've found the Executioner is best in a defense role mostly due to his low Speed. Have him move out from your Deployment in to a nice position to charge anything that comes within range, use the Lawyer to give him Hard To Wound 2 and sit back and wait. This works well with strategies such as Treasure Hunt when you need to cover the carriers retreat or Schemes such as Hold Out. The big guy is very squishy but with a simple spell he can take a few hits that will hopefully only be dealing out Weak damage to him.
  4. Great write up, your article encouraged me to buy him and even though I have only used him in 1 game to Defense my objective grabbers and Censure nearby enemies, his Red Tape alone made him a problematic minion for my opponent.
  5. I use Maelstrom quite a lot but the service has gone down hill. My last order took nearly 5 months to arrive and I am not exaggerating. Thankfully I am very patient and I was in no rush for the models but that length of time, for an item that was 'In Stock' on the site? Now I will only order from them when there is an offer on and I don't need the mini right away.
  6. Thank you! I was thinking that the condition would be met after 4c but I understand now, thank you very much. I make it my aim to fully understand the rules of a system I play and this was the first real issue we'd had. Or I'd had anyway Bodyguard is a different situation, as the criteria is 'removed from play' and 'in play at the end of the encounter' which combined with Slow To Die's specific reversal of time when used to perform a successful healing flip, makes it clear whether youve succeded or not. My confusion was in a specific timing of an interruption during a sequence. Thank you for chiming in though Even though I play Guild, I enjoyed my brief foray with Von Awesome, the Master That Won't Stay Dead.
  7. It's not the (1)Action interruption that I'm arguing, it's the 'defender has been killed' in order to trigger Slow To Die which I would of thought would bypass the timing window for Onslaught's attack. I think my problem is understanding which bit interrupts first. My mind sees it this way: 1. Attacker Strikes 2. Duel Total Determined 3. Dg Flipped and dealt which is lethal. 4. Window for Onslaught attack, but... 5. Defender killed, Slow To Die triggers. So, at which stage does the Onslaught's immediate attack begin? Am I seeing this all wrong? Forgive my ignorance, I just want to understand all the how's and whys
  8. When an attacker triggers Onslaught from a melee strike and deals lethal damage, if the defender has Slow To Die and performs a Healing Flip, does the attacker still get their second attack? I would argue no as the immediate window for Onslaught has passed but I could be wrong. If you need a specific example, Lord Chompy Bits vs Friekorpps Librarian. Thank you.
