  1. Our HOUSE RULES for 2v2 are as follows (please note these are HOUSE RULES, not official rules, our gaming circle agreed on them ourselves). 4 players, 2 players per team. 25ss per player for a total of 50ss per team starting ss pool capped at 5 per player No duplicate masters/henchemen. 1 Strat per team, 1 Scheme per player. Initiative works as follows: Teams nominate a player to flip, the team with the higher initiative will go first. BOTH teams then chose who will activate first within their team. the cycle is then decided. Example: Team A is Raspy and Von Schill, Team B is Perdita and Viktoria. Team A nominates the raspy player to flip for team initiative, Team B nominates Viktoria. Raspy wins the initative draw against Viktoria (who may elect to use a ss to cheat it as normal but declines). Team A then decides amongst themselves that Raspy's player will activate first for them, while Team B decides that Perdita's player will go first for them. The play order for this turn is now: Raspy, Perdita, Vonschill, Viktoria. Hope all of that makes sense, let me know if you want more specifics, we do 2v2 often.
  2. Oh thats a cool model! I also thought about this one here but I don't know it's scale. http://www.miniaturemarket.com/chronoscope-50039-gug-eldritch-horror.html
  3. Hey all, So I have pretty much every Non-Gremlin Outcast and run variations of Viks/Schill and Hamelin quite often. I decided that I really wanted to explore Pandora more (one of the first models that made me look at Malifaux, truth be had) and have decided to pull the trigger on a crew to bolster my collection for the game. So, as it stands right now I've pretty much sorted out what my initial buy in is going to be, and just wanted some Pandora Experienced players to double check it for me. Let me start by saying that I'm electing to NOT start with the Boxed Set for a few reasons; mainly I'm a bigger fan of Alt-Pandora, and I'm all ready so deep with beatstick models with my Viks and other outcasts that I'm avoiding Baby Kade and Teddy. Here we go: Shopping list as I currently have it; Pandora- Alt Sculpt. Sorrows- 1 Blister of 3 Coppelius Insidious Madness- 2 of these, though I really dislike the sculpt. So, any Proxy ideas are VERY WELCOME. DoppleGanger Primordial Magic Stitched Together- 1 Blister of 2 Jack Daw- Actually one of the few non-gremlin Outcast pieces I have yet to obtain, and I think now is a good time to add him. So that's the primary shopping list, it's not super versatile, but I think it will be pretty nasty. I'm also strongly considering adding the Lelu/Leithu Twins to the initial buy too. Question I have also, is it worth it for Alps? I know they do well with the Dreamer, but with Pandora? Much thanks for any help
  4. I do not know if $ is part of the decision but you can have virtually every model you need to run a versatile Hamelin crew for around 85 bucks shipped on certain markets that sell miniatures websites I like Hamelin more than Levy, personally too.

    Viks

My Viks do not leave home without a Ronin.
  6. Go to any bar or restraunt in your area, ask them if they have any wine bottle corks or if they will save them for you. In one night most places will have a big bag of corks for you to pick up Cut those and make cool bases out of them, rocky out crops, crystals, ect.
  7. I really, really like what you did with Snow Storm. Very well done on all of them, but Snow Storm is the centerpiece imho.
  8. As it stands right now, and looking ahead: Malifaux is just revolutionary enough to be awesome, and just familiar enough to be awesome. It's miniatures are really cool, it's fluff is really cool, and entry cost is the industry best. Love it, and have been encouraging all my gaming friends to get into it.
  9. The models come with basic black bases. If you want fancier you can either buy the malifaux bases, or other brands (just make sure you get the right size). I tend to just base my figures myself but I've also used resin bases from Micro Art Studios and they look nice. Check thewarstore.com and other outlets.
  10. I understood what you meant Rebecca. I often refer to the 'corps as a separate group to the other mercs too though, so maybe you me and jewomie are just whackadoo I appreciate your input though, gives me ideas. Tell me, what do you find is your weakest story/strat/scheme?
  11. Hello all, I just recently signed up to the forums and figured I'd meet and greet with my fellow Outcast players What I'd like to do is challenge you more experienced guys and gals out there to put together some "lists" using my current roster of miniatures. It would be cool if you could do say 25 -35ss lists, and highlight which strats and schemes you think they'd be best suited for. Currently, my outcast roster is as follows: Viktoria - Swords Viktoria - Bounty Hunter Ronin (3) Taelor Misaki Sue Hans Convict Gunslinger Ten Thunder Brothers (3) Desperate Mercenary (2) Von Schill Librarian Trapper Specialist Friekorpsmen (2) Student of Conflict So, with those 22 individual miniatures, what can you put together with me? Thanks in advance for any input!
