I am basing my Kirai crew in a zen garden. Mainly sand bases with some asian style beads I found. I also plan on doing some lines in the sand on some of the smaller sized models.

Nuke Con happens is just a few hours! Join in the fun and check out the gaming room for Malifaux demos and open play Friday night with the big Halloween event on Saturday. The paint and play has started and is under way. What did I choose for a starter box? Well having painted all the Resurrectionist, I got the Rasputina box. Not too late to join in.

I have use him a few times to try him out. So far, my opponent just ingore him and he flies around for a while then strikes during the last turn on objectives. I have never used his ablities or spells, he just shoots once and a while. Over all, not bad for 4 points.

This Satruday, the invasion continues! The demonic minions are making their appearance, and we will see what effect that has on the game. It is not too late to join, come in and find out what side you are on.

Good ideas everyone! Thanks. I got a laser level and that is a must have for Malifaux. I have also got engraved dog tags which I am thinking of adding to the prize box. I just made one for my self that says "Malifaux Henchmen".

As someone that only plays Resurrectionist, you would think I would jump at the chance to help, but I am by no means a tactics person. I play only for fun and would not really add anything useful to the wiki. But you guys do the Resurrectionist proud!

So here is a question going out to all malifaux event goers. What Malifaux based prize do you like most? It can be any model, base insert, accessories, or anything Wyrd related. I am working on filling a prize box and I figured the average malifaux would be the person to ask. Post it up and let me know. Thanks in advance. Think I worded this wrong. I mean what you like to receive for a prize. If you went to an event what wyrd product would you like to get for winning. Do like the post so far though.

Orcs4Hire is hosting some gaming events at Nuke Con and one of those events is a Malifaux event! Here is all the details: Where? Nuke Con. At the Mid-American Center in Council Bluffs IA When? There will be demos on Friday night and an event on Saturday Dates? Nuke Con runs October 5th to the 7th. Malifaux demos will be on Friday the 5th and the event on Satruday the 6th. Time? The event will start at 1pm and run until 6pm. Demo time 5pm until 9pm. Cost to get into the event with be $5, but every dollar goes straight to prizes. Event details: The event will be using the Wyrd Halloween story encounter (the very first one!). Crews will be 25 soul stones in size with fixed factions. The event will be very relaxed with some new schemes to fit the theme of the event. Storm of Shadow may be used as long as they follow the gaining grounds rules for proxies. As a bonus, there will also be a painting/conversion contest! Players that wish to enter need only to convert or paint up one member of their crew in a costume. Maybe do up Lilith to look like Lady Justice, or a showgirl to be a rotten belle. Players will then vote for their favorite and the winner gets a prize! Should be fun and good times for all! They seem to join crews at random and help or hinder by causing choas. They seems to ally with no one faction and seems hate each other more than than the other minions of Malifaux. Gain new demonic minions to help you in your battles and crush your foes. Collect the most points and decide who really wins! I am hoping to see the starting character as just a regular human who maybe starts to gain new spells and powers to draw them to the factions. We all know there are all type of monsters and beast that are in the books and even more not talked about to toss in there for encounters. I normally don't run mers, but when I do I find the gunslinger and desperate mercs a great add on. If I am playing guild, Larazus is helping out.

First off, welcome to the forums and to Malifaux! Guild are quite well known for their shotting abilities and the new book will just add to that. The real key to malifaux is to pick a faction you like, not just a master. You will soon find yourself buying more models and if you stick to one faction you can pick and mix the ones you like. Now this is not quite the same with Outcast as they almost act like their own factions within a faction. Most masters will not work with others, the gremlins are one group, the mercs another then Hamelin and Leveticus are the two odd balls. So the Viks/ von schill group is a good choice to keep your cost low, but if want to get more choice in the long run, then guild would be the way to go.

But if on a 50mm base, count it as a rogue necromancy, then instead of spit acid, it vomits fish guts.
