  1. Thanks for that. The timing of the Dg/Wd sequence was highlighted below. I wasn't sure where the rule on p.g. 44 ("Models can only suffer...") sat in regards to prevention flips where you received more wounds than you could prevent (sans the Red Joker). http://wyrd-games.net/forum/showthread.php?t=24756#9 Slow to Die and SS retain their luster
  2. As in the thread title and mentioned previously, the Lilith player did not use a SS to boost defense to avoid the Rami shot. I have to ask though, couldn't Lilith have saved herself by using a SS to prevent wounds after the fact? AFAIK you can only suffer as many wounds as you have remaining; so the 14 dmg would cause Lilith to suffer 10 wounds. With a a WD prevention flip of anything but a Black Joker could she have survived, or am I interpreting this rule incorrectly?
  3. Thanks for the response poulpox. I figured we had the first two right and the last seems reasonable.
  4. Hi all, Our gaming group has recently starting playing Malifaux and we love it. Having been wargaming for years, the LoS rules are without a doubt the trickiest thing for our new players to grasp. The expletives thrown out when a player first experiences being shot from elevated terrain when they are behind a wall have been priceless Thanks to existing threads we have a handle on all but three LoS scenarios which I could not find here: Q1. On page 17. of the RM, does Perdita receive hard cover if shot by Som'er and Gremlin 3? Q2. With the new Terraclip boards we are using, we now find HT1 walls sitting on elevated terrain (guard rails if you will). Can a HT1 model target over the wall to continue with the normal elevation rules? Assume the target is smaller than the total combined height of the elevation and wall. Q3. Does the aforementioned HT1 wall on the elevated terrain (HT2) make it HT3 when resolving melee distance calculations? Cheers
