Thanks,.. I had debated on doing an orange, with a fall leaf pattern. But I'm really happy with the way the pink came out. And I think that bit of brown and white from the cherry tree pattern will really pop when it's done.

Gecko>> I think it should be easy enough. A fine tipped felt pen, or micron pen, might do the trick. Then perhaps a red felt tip to do the gradient? Otherwise, it might look good as a spot of gold embroidery against the black and red.

I agree. Some washes would do wonders for the shading. And, given your current style,... I'd recommend a bit of black-lining.

So,.. I'll be the first to toss something up here. Here's the model that I'm working with (or part of it at least) And I want to do a cherry tree blossom motif. (maybe not this exact picture, but you get the point). I need to do this now, before the whole model is complete. Otherwise, the tail and such will be in the way. Also, I'll need to pull this into the upper torso section for the sake of uniformity. So the technique, will have to be easily duplicated, at some other point in the future.

The shading on the pink came out fantastic I think. I hope it comes through in the photos. Next up, I'm going to do some free-handing of a cherry tree blossom pattern. I need to get this done before I add the fox tail. Otherwise, I won't be able to get the brush where I need it.
