  1. Has it been determined yet if the Fate Decks will be the plastic variety in the 2 player set yet? I had seen someone else ask this but did not see an answer. Sorry if this has been answered already.
  2. Thank you for the quick response.. so what besides fluff does the full rule book offer? Army lists?
  3. Is the rule book the full book or just the rules only book? Looking at getting into this but on the fence still. Have Puppet Wars and was considering making the plunge. Also what is required beyond expanding your crews.. such as more books and what not? Just wondering how expanded rules are handled and what cost may be involved down the road besides the models.
  4. I am sure this has been addressed but what happened to Pandora in Unstitched?.. Has she been removed?.. Are there new stats for her?... Kinda odd that she just disappeared.
  5. Are all the puppets getting new stats or only the ones that are listed in the pdf?
  6. WOW.. thats gets a big old HOLY CRAP.. If that is correct that exhausted can be removed by Bath Time... WOW
  7. Ok.. I would love to see a relpacement set for all the paper tokens to plastic with verbal desciptors (I am old and my eyes are going.. they are very hard to read.. just me..) and separate effect and counter tokens to denote permanent effects. Not to steal an idea from another game but I played Heroscape forever and they had effect markers on the board that possesion of (having a figure on the marker) did various things.. all puppets gain +1 def, combat, move.. sew up the puppet that lands on the marker first.. etc. You get the idea. Would make for major combat areas. I am also tempted by different board configurations. I like the base board but find it kind of bland though with larger boards comes other issues of gameplay as this is meant to really get in close and duke it out. Some scenario driven type games might also be interesting adding some diversity to the game (especially for multiplayer.. team based options would be nice) i.e. assault/defend point A on the board and capture/defend it in/for X turns to win. Expansion wise I agree with the themed box release idea. Inidividual puppets would be cool but we know that isnt happening. Another option might be to 'build a box' to mix and match a custom pack of individual puppets but I guess that technically is individual sales. I would like to see new masters maybe more than new pawns personally. The event deck concept also sounds interesting with different positive and negative effects for a turn with a new card flipped every trun not round.
  8. Man I hate Belle even more now.... hahahah. Thanks for the update the anticipation was gut wrenching...
  9. South Jersey.. Glassboro area

  10. Well aparently I don't know anything and I can't type.. haha.. should have proof read that last post.. looking forward to the response.. Belle was a beast with the Executioner's claws attached that night.. was a bad bad portent for my poor master..
  11. Wow still no official response that I see... the possiblities... the elves must be distracted with the coming holiday.. After a fair bit of thought I believe the rip occured allowing Alyce to activate then the rip was ignored by Belle.. bt what fo I know... hahah
  12. Cool.. stumped you guys... ... Do i get a Pokey Vic for that... hahahahah
  13. When Alyce rips the Belle and the Belle ignores the rip is the destruction of an attachment avoided as well.. we believe so but just wanted a clarification on timing.
  14. Just wanted to say thanks for the excellent customer service in the replacement of a cut Puppet Deck card.. and I cant wait for my Teddy set... . Thanks again for the fine customer service.
  15. Ok so I am still on the fence with this one as the definition of 'control' states 'effects may allow you to temporarily control an enemy puppet'.. so actually no allegiance is changing he is still an enemy to me and friendly to his crew and since the Austringer targets a 'puppet adjacent to ANY friendly puppet' I believe he may attack his team... sounds almost like a legal discussion.. haha.. anyway thats how I see it after some legalize analysis.. would love to see agree or disagree posts just for my gaming partners sanity.. hahaha... The ATTACK action does denote an adjacent enemy puppet but the Austringer card seems to override that IMO
  16. So if the Austringer is not friendly to my crew since he was not from my toybox, but he is friendly with his original crew from his toybox then he could attack any puppet in his crew that was adjacent to a friendly puppet of his crew thus attacking his own team.. worded poorly but sounds corrrect.. yes?
  17. This came up the other night. I used my Cherub to take over the Guild Austringer and the only puppet adjacent to a friendly puppet was the Cherub touching the Asutringer... soooo.. could the rip caused by the Austringer be applied to itself as long as it was not a rip that would kill it? After reading the 'friendly' puppet definition I think the Austringer is now frienldy since I am controlling it and I have no valid targets for his ability as I have no friendly puppets adjacent to any enemy puppets.. but a second opinion would be nice.. just in case.
  18. On a side note to the original poster.. I have started in Puppet Wars and love it.. but I have never been a fan of measuring tapes being an old school hex board gamer. Malifaux interests me and I was wondering has anyone ever modified the Malifaux system to utilize a square (terraclips comes to mind) or hex based measurement grid?
  19. So I am a complete idiot about these 2 items... But I think I am seeing the light but would like a clarification. If an ability or effect say gains "effect counter" then the effect persists through turns... but if the effect says just gains "effect" then the effect is cleared in the resolve turn step correct? So gains "+1 powerful counter" and gains "+1 powerful" are completely separate things in duration I think. If thats the case how are you guys keeping track of the different effect durations with only the stock set of counters? Of course I could be completely wrong about the whole statement above... any help appreciated.. I have read the other threads on duration and think I got it now.. but hey I am new to this... haha.. Thanks again
