Nope, you didn't DNF and you did create a funny entry again. Well done, keep it up

Very nice effect for such a quick paintjob
-
Nice paintjob and well done with masking the gap in Yamaziko's cloak.
-
I don't know the reference but he definitely does look creepy
-
Lovely idea and great execution. Impressive work on the conversion too, even his features are appropriately Japanese.

I really like the way you've arranged things here. It's a pretty big diorama and you have a lot of detail in it but nothing feels out of place, everything looks like it's been planned in detail. Great use of Kirai - it adds a nice twist to the whole thing. Also, I love the picture in the background.
-
Awesome paintjob, the freehand is excellent, especially the trees in the background.
-
Interesting use of background, it goes well with very nice paintjob on the model.
-
Awesome, my favorite entry this round by far. I love the idea and it's so well executed.
-
That's an impressive one, great work on its armor.

I didn't get the reference as I'm not familiar with that series but it become clear once I've clicked the link. Neat paintjob, the effect on glasses is outstanding.

This mini seems to be a popular choice this round. Well done!
-
Those are some of the tiniest and most challenging miniatures in the range and you've done this one justice with very nice brushwork and a cool base.

In order to make NMM work, you must put quite a few thinned down layers of paint as you build up the highlights. It's a nice result for the first attempt but you could have tried to make it a bit smoother. Other than that it's an interesting piece and I like the paintjob.

The sheer amount of work you must have put into making your entry is impressive. The painting is wonderful too. Also, clever use of Malifaux minis here. I agree with Linus that the robot is a bit too futuristic but then it works well for the theme and adds a funny element of contrast to the whole thing.
-
A solid paintjob though theme is not present here.

That's definitely your best work in this edition of Iron Painter, what a way to showcase a mini! I actually like the second picture more - it shows more detail.
-
So much going on here - dynamic arrangement of minis and vibrant colors make it a really great scene
-
The fur texture looks great and all those small details make it a really wonderful piece. Good luck

This is wicked, twisted and awesome. Oh, and it's made in Japan too Awesome entry mate.

A ninja pony, sweet

I wanted the trees to stand in contrast, I tried to use it to represent the difference between the "real" world and the nightmarish nature of the creature entering it. I'd originally thought about using green tones but then chose autumn flock to better highlight that contrast. At least that was my reasoning. But then different strokes for different folks

I like the idea and the models you've chosen fit your take on the theme very well.

Great work on the light/dark contrast. Some wonderful brushwork too. The expression on the hobbit's face is perfect. One of my favorite entries this round.
