So what would you have in 25 / 35 SS Levi list. Man himself. I assume a cheap sacrificial victim is necessity to prolong the man's life so... K9 remains 2 SS Molly seems awesome, as she can Imbue Vigor... and in theory, cast one of Levi's spells... I am not sure she wants to. Molly 9 SS Dead Rider feels bit expensive after spending 11 SS on 'supporting' cast. I guess that with Molly around, Belle or two wouldn't hurt... But what else? Necropunks to capture objects? And how about Molly's totem?

So, I spotted that Alyce has a thing called 'problem child'. This made me think Levi as her surrogate father. And an idea of a family was born. Levi Alyce 8 SS Of course, the family needs a dog. Unfortunately, they couldn't get a healthy one, so they have to do with a dead one. Canine Remains 2 SS And as Levi is 'loving' father, he has surely given Alyce a stuffed toy to play with. Teddy 9 SS Of course Levi has the girls he keeps seeing, those less than feisty Hollow Waifs Summoned. ___________ Leveticus Alyce 8 CR 2 Teddy 9 ... 19 SS So any ideas what to get to hit the magical 25 SS or the 35 SS limit and stay with the 'theme'. Bella, a Rotten Belle as 'surrogate mother' could work... But I'm asking if you have any, even more awesome/crazy ideas.

Pain to paint after assembly, and relatively tricky to assemble after painting. >.>

Ended going with 'Grafted Harpies' from Dark Age range. I plan to cut of the wings (or just not glue them on) and see what I can do with green stuff. I might even see if I could convert few of those with bits from the unpainted actual SPA's. Will post a few pictures with Levi before painting, and once they are done. The models should arrive next week or so. *giddy*

Except that the new flayed ones look like... crap. *snap* Now, if I could get my hands on the old ones... I had never thought about them, despite having seen the models. Size might be an issue again, but...

And that's what I thought too :/ Now, the Ht 2 is bit silly, I think, as some of those are as tall as Levi. :irked: Some of them, like the one lacking legs, are shorter of course. Bronze skeletons sounds wicked, and I will want to see pictures when they are done, but I am not overly fond of the GW skellies at the moment. Mantic seems to make zombies and ghouls, maybe they could work, suitably converted.... Somehow, I would like to see flesh grafted with steel, in a cool way...

...that. I do have the models, but... to be honest, I do not really like how they look. So I am considering prettier (?) proxies. First ones that come to my mind are GW's ghouls, suitably converted. Also, plastic so the conversions shouldn't be too hard. But I am worried that the GW ghouls are too big when compared to somewhat skim SPA'a. Would anyone happen to be able to tell how they look side to side. Also, are there any other alternatives you can think of, e.g. from Warmachine range. Cheers, Zhivago

Thanks, will have to find another Silent One then... The problem with the 'boxes' match-up is htat McMourning box has two nurses, which... suck. Ergo, being insistent on using two ~25SS lists.

Another newbie, planning to start Raspy to do demo games with my McMourning crew, mostly because I like the model/fluff. Now, I'm aiming at 25 SS, and that seems to really limit your options. So, reading what people are saying in this thread and in the others of it's kind, Raspy likes to sit back, and bombard things with her spells. So, Essence of Power (2SS) seems like a good starting point. Silent One's look really nice, and have a lot of synergy with Raspy, so one of them, please (6SS). Ice gamin... seem to give a nice boost to the casters, so one of them could join the crew as well (4SS). The bugger can also serve last line of defence for Raspy? Unfortunately, you have to move around in this game, and Cult of December seems to be bad with that. So, enter Snow-Sabertooth-Ceberus, who can at least move (8 SS). And that leaves me with 5SS to be used. Another gamin? Or drop the totem and go for Acolyte (utility) or second Silent one. I don't need a one list to kill them all, just fun, and playable crew to take on mcMourning.
