I managed to get them all together. I saved the Geisha for last, and started with Bill, Bill was by far the most obtuse to get together, but the geisha have parts that might make it difficult if you don't get certain parts put together before other parts. Otherwise, it was fairly simple. As for when instructions will get pu up, it will take them some time to sort the order of assembly.

Yes! If a distributor can't deliver your product, you find another distributor! If that is not an option, you go take a giant dump on somebodys head, so it NEVER happens again! That is what it takes to be competative in the market, and I want Wyrd to be around in 2025 and beyond.

Fumbling the launch of your flagship product is a HUGE red flag. A problem in your supply chain is a threat to your business model, and blowing it off is a mistake.  

Wyrd gets orders from the distributors. The distributors are dealt with store side, not production side. You're getting angry at the wrong side, that's what people are telling you.

Getting back to the purpose of this thread; I caught a reference to Ten Peaks in the Core Rule Book. Ten Peaks will definitely be a December Keyword box.

I do think it sucks to have a June release but not have it easily available in hard copy. I would prefer to wait longer for the release if it meant I could order it as I want. It seems to be a common occurrence in the world of nerdy thing that they underestimate the demand for product.

@solkan Adran responded to the forum topic saying "For those worried about the issue, Nathen talks about it in this thread. For those of a nervous disposition, M3e release had already left the warehouse. " so that should not be affecting this.

Sigh I guess I'll just have to wait until August for the GenCon sale....

 

Even if they don't plan to stock it, you might be able to get them to order some special for you. I would expect they would like to get your money, and any store that would refuse seems unreliable to me, anyway.

You're in no different a position than if they didn't give us these resources at all, actually, you are in a much better situation, since the books with stat cards won't be releasing until August for the first group, and September for the second. Just use the beta rules, and any abilities that are shared should just be adjusted to match.

The Iron Druid Chronicles by Kevin Hearne is a fantastic series (though I haven't finished it).

You make a good point. And looking at things, there doesn't seem to be any easy rhyme or reason, there's no solid logic that has been presented in reveals yet. Burning Bridges doesn't have a single henchman, unless they change Elijah Borgman to a henchman for full release.

So is the upcoming Burning Bridges box, which is 1 Henchman, 1 Enforcer and 3 Minions. So Toshiro, Yin and 3 Ashigaru seems more likely than also throwing Manos in there.

Both have something of a Yan Lo vibe, but I'd assume both aren't for him. Assuming we'll get a new Yan Lo box with Gokudo as minions (unverified, but not too far fetched IMO), one will probably have Ashigaru in it. Ashigaru + Toshiro (who summons them) will make for a 4 model thematic box set. That'd be my bet for Eternal Servitude. That seems low for a 50$ box, so there's probably more to it. Yan Lo's full resser retinue? Add in Yin and Manos. Six models for fifty. That's a crewbox price/model ratio more or less.

 

Definitely Chimera for Altered Beasts. There's more Chimera models than what could sensibly be crammed into a 30$ box. I'm guessing Ferdinand Vogel will be his own box due to Beast Within being a big model. Same for Paul Crockett to make him an easier buy for Frontier players. That still leaves an excess of Chimera models that could make up a Chimera themed box. No idea what will be inside it. Marcus' old box perhaps (Cojo, Cerberus, Rattler)?

With a name like Light in the Dark I'll make a guess at Adze + Will O The Wisp box.

Ancient Evil has me puzzled as well. Ama No Zako is described as such in some or other lore bit if I recall correctly. No idea what they'd throw in with her though. Very unsure about this.

There's only a few things in June-August releases that excites me much, so really looking forward for September to be properly spoiled.

I doubt the box will have both Toshiro and Manos in it; two henchmen in a box seems a bit much. 

I don't really know the Neverborn all that well, so I didn't think about Adze + Will o' the Wisps, with those in mind, that seems a fair bet.

Ancient Evil being a way Ama No Zako is described brings a few things to mind, but I don't know which Yokai would accompany.

I am really looking forward to several things in there, being a TT player, and with the delay, I might be able to get more of it in the end, as it's possible with the faction books delay, I won't be able to spend money in that direction for a bit longer.

I apologize if anyone has posted about this already, but I love speculation and a forum search turned up nothing. I couldn't find anything answering this recently,  or closely,  but if there's anything already answering this, feel free to link me and leave it. 

So I played some during first edition and a little bit of 1.5, but I took a break and I am just getting back into the game. I have a (small) bunch of the old models and the rules only discuss a few of the old models,  and only one of them is one that I have, and I have a few already painted.  What is the rule on using the old models with updated cards?

I too, would like to get a name change. I would like Dread Loche if at all possible.

I have very little experience with miniatures, and even less with plastics. I want to get spray on primer a out saved a lot of time. I got some fairy cheap bases from secret weapon, and I want to know if they would fiddler with aerosol as I have heard some plastics do.

If I could do it I would try myself (once I got them) I am not sure what symbol you are thinking of Mako, so I can't help you there. I am going to just go with a color scheme and leave it there.

Ah,but the symbol for Japan is a box with a line through it, that's pretty simple! And spirals are deceptively hard to get right with all that curvyness that goes on lol.

I don't know what it is in Chinese, but I know that in Japanese, that is not true, it is actually two symbols, though still not complicated (though I would not even consider to try to paint them on a miniature due to the size and my own shakiness).

Forgive me if I am wrong, but if he activates an aura during his activation and dampening field isn't active during his activation, wouldn't that mean that it didn't originate within the area described by dampening field since it wasn't active at the moment the aura started?

They need an 8 to cast compelled, the have melee master (2), and serpent strike is a one ap charge, exactly like the razorspine rattler.

Ok, I dont even have them in hand yet, I am choosing to be patient and wait so I can get misaki. This is for ideas of the color scheme of the models. I am thinking of incorporating orange as out is the faction color. The rail crew will probably be orange and blue (blue is the color I chose to represent m&su members), but I am at a bit of a loss on how to paint the thunders and how I should handle the bases. I have ben painting the outer eing of my model bases in the color of their faction, but with dual faction I am at a loss, should I just paint them one color our both?

Mr. Tannen Is a Woe, so I would assume he would have at least some synergy with Pandora.

When I asked a little before gen-con, ratty said ' it might have been looked at.' I take this to mean one of two things, 1) they are daunted by the task and haven't finished, or 2) they already gave it done and will update it after they get gen con orders out of the way. I hope it is the latter, but the former is certainly possible. Only those involved can really say for sure.
