  1. Yeah, I know absolutely nothing about minis. I'd be endlessly questioning you guys on WTF to do, but I was willing to give it a crack cuz the game does look awesome. Just always leary about component quality when it hits the 60-80 dollar range One should be, unless they've endless disposable income, but few people do.
  2. I was interested in purchasing in October, but now maybe I'll wait and see what they do with it. I'm a boardgamer first, myself, and was looking forward to trying this. I'll wait and see if Wyrd irons out the kinks before I participate if it's that much of a pia. Was really looking forward to adding this to my "minis light" category with Earth Reborn and Battleship Galaxies, too
  3. I probably won't be able to get it until October. I do one game purchase a month, and I did that one. Next month is the Mrs. turn. I'll be all over it for the October Purchase though
  4. Looks awesome, I really want to try it.
  5. Very interested in learning about Malifaux. Seems there isn't a group at the LGS here. I'd love to play if there was interest. Hampton, VA
  6. Hey All - I am pretty much a complete miniatures newbie. I played my minis game ever, yesterday. It wasn't anything like Malifaux, it was Shako II. It's related to the Napoleonic Wars. I only mention this as I found the premise interesting, and it was rather fun in it's own right. Not particularly my thing though! Something I play if it's there in front of me, you know? We have a local war game club that allows games of that nature to be accessible, they also do board games and is generally a fun group. They're more into historical stuff, though. Anyways, needless to say it sort of peaked my interest in miniatures in general, and Malifaux looks like a crazy over the top steampunky-horror-western mish-mash of awesome! I'm not even really sure what to make of it! I am quite positive this is something I'd love to learn, but it doesn't appear there is much of a player base in Hampton Roads, VA? I looked at the local game stores and this particular minis game seems dormant. Any advice? Normally I'd just show up at a shop and bug people about it, but that doesn't appear to be an option. Unless maybe you're in hiding? My preliminary interest is learning the game. I kind of get the gist of crew selection, but I'd like to know a bit more about it. What to do, what to do?
