  1. I'm madly in love with my marionettes. Haven't run them with Z yet (her alt and avatar are on the way), but I plan to, along with a Doppelganger (and/or the Weaver Widow once she's available...how I love that creepy thing). Z's avatar definitely encourages having Juju around, as he's probably the best option for the Servant's Rage trigger. It's worth noting, that with Z's ability (and the Weaver Widow's...though you may want to save those counters for Teddy) to summon Wicked Dolls, you needn't spend too many SS's on them.
  2. He does not have an ability that prevents him from being in a crew with Sue.
  3. Papa and Nurses together are dead stupid. Nurse-buff Papa to make him unkillable, explode, shrug off before the need to sacrifice. I love Stitched Together, too. They are super-effective. Collodi provides some truly ridiculous objective claiming/movement shenanigans options. ***Spoiler Warning***New Doll options all over the place in Twisting Fates, and something to make Silurids more appealing***End Spoiler***
  4. To manifest you need to do some ball gazing and convince others to do your dirty work. She also has a new and awesome attack spell with a card-manipulating trigger. Did someone in here say she manipulates fate? Yeah...disgustingly. She can share some of her card-cheating abilities. She can get benefits when enemies cheat. Oh, and attacking her may no longer be bad manners, but it may upset her friends...get them in a vengeful mood. Also, you know how she's all young and hot? Well, she has to keep up that figure somehow, maybe by inflicting old age on her foes... Also other abilities. You'll see. She rocks pretty hard.
  5. The blister gives you three (if I remember correctly), Nico gives you the ability to summon them on demand. I would start the game with one. I also really like at least one Rotten Belle with Crooked Men. Luring models into shafted markers is fun.
  6. Mmm...thanks for the ideas. I had planned running the Doppelganger for similar effect. Nice to see I'm not as crazy as I thought I was.
  7. I'm new to Neverborn. Usually I play Guild or Ressers. Tonight was my first game with Malifaux's good guys. 25SS, three players, shared claim jump. I played Collodi. I'd just like to say, I love puppets. Brilliant, creeptastic puppets. The ability to haul my army around the the table at lightning speed. Stitched Togethers gambling Kirai to death. Marionettes and Wicked Dolls eating Datsue-ba as if she was made of tissues. Wow. Now...to bring the puppet master with Zoraida or Pandora... Happy to be on the side of angels...cloven-hooved, demonic angels...
  8. Are you sure about that? Targets are declared before range is determined, for ranged attacks, at least. Maybe for melee (can't remember if you can always check your melee range during activation, or if that's just Warmachine) they'd both have to be in range. Being out of range doesn't mean it isn't a legal target, just that you're going to miss. That said, the wording doesn't say "you have to target the nightmare" it says, "you may not target the Dreamer." I may be wrong, but that's how I read it.
