Just a heads up everyone, we're starting to get a few people ordering figs and starting to play. I'd say we have at least 2 to 3 dedicated guys. If you want to come down, I'll be at Wings, Wheels, and Waves Friday night from about 5:30 to 10 or so. Come on down and say hello!. If you don't have a crew, or you don't know how to play, that's fine, I've got plenty of starter crews!

I'm glad I came across this thread lol, because when playing with Jakob this weekend it popped into my head that the wording on Ace in the Hole meant that when it was flipped for a duel, so if I flipped the 1:masks I would cry a little as I discarded it. But if I remember correctly, Dead Man's Hand uses the wording "flipped", which would work with the wording of Ace in the Hole that says the 1:masks is the Red Joker when it is flipped or used to cheat fate with. wording between the two abilities matches up, so in my mind (after viewing this thread), I would say it counts as the Red Joker, which would mean your opponent gets to draw a card, and you get a second joker

Well, if you weren't going to start this thread, then someone else would have . Wrabbit, I can totally see not wanting to use Graves w/o Tannen for thematic reasons either. This thread is just making me want to play them more and more lol.

Jack Daw?! Now you're just trying to get me to buy more models ;-) Thanks. I'll look in to that. I probably won't play with Lynch until the he and the "employees" of the Honeypot Casino are painted up, so that will give me time to practice with my other Neverborn masters.

This write up is great. I walked up to Wyrd's booth at GenCon, and picked up all of the new neverborn models (just need 5 more orphanage bases before I can play with my Beckoners and Depleted :'-( ). I don't know if I want to Run Lynch, Graves and Tannen consistantly, but if I do, I would probably try to center a list around those three for when I do. Any ideas of what you would suggest?

Jacob's story is kind of interesting... I like that as high as his luck can run, you're almost sure that he's going to crash and burn sooner or later... The HD kind of prevented that last crash and burn with Jacob's interactions with the 10T. As to the idea of "non-asian" agents of the 10T, it says somewhere in Book 4 that the 10T have infiltrated almost all of Malifaux through use of bribery, dark dealings, or blackmail. Not to give major spoilers, but in Mr. Lynch's case, it is is a little more of the last one than any of the others.

A few of the store's regulars have shown interest in Malifaux, so I'm going to be running demos this Sunday, June 10th at 3:00 PM. If you're in the area, show up, we'll show you how to play, and show you why this game is awesome and fun

Absolutely! I'll try to use this thread as a general, "Malifaux Events at Our Store" thread, and I'll update the OP with new info as I go along. I know that tomorrow night is going to be our first "official" Malifaux night, and I know of at least two players that are going to be playing lol. And I might try to run some demos on Sunday afternoon.

Just a quick update: We'll be holding demos this Sunday (March 18th) before we start up our Malifaux beginner's league on March 25th.

Hey everyone,Just wanted to let the community know that Malifaux is picking up some steam in Mansfield, Ohio, and that we're going to be holding a League to get the players interested and help them learn the rules.The tournament will spread over 5 weeks, with the 6th week containing a tournament to cap off the whole event.If you're interested in playing in the league, you can PM me and I'll get some more information from you and email you the league packet. Details: 5 week league starting with starter boxes and ending with 35 SS Players will play with a fixed master, but everyone is welcome to change their lists between games. Cost of the league is 5 dollars and will go to prize support for the event. League will be held on Sundays (at least) at Realm of Heroes in Mansfield, Ohio.

Realm of Heroes in Mansfield, Ohio is gearing up for a Malifaux Escalation League in the next month or so, so until that time, we'll be running demos Sunday afternoons at 3:00pm till about 5 or so. If it needs to run longer, I can certainly stay longer to make sure everyone gets a chance to play. 1 week customer service turnaround, problem solved. Thanks to those that gave me a time frame, it actually help put my mind at ease

So 2 weeks, okay, at least I have a window of time to go off of now. Did they let you know that they had sent the models out for shipping and they were on your way, or was it sort of a surprise for you?

I'm very sorry if this thread is under the wrong forum category. A week ago I bought 2 Fate Decks, a copy of the small rulebook, a Lady Justice box, and the Nicodem box. My Lady Justice box was perfect, everything packed nicely, nothing was warped, broken, etc.. My Nicodem box on the other hand came with 2 Nicodem, 1 Mortimer, and 0 Samurai Punk Zombies. I sent a message to Wyrd explaining my problem, received a response asking for information like who packed my box, and address, etc... I sent of several pictures and the rest of the information that was requested. I haven't heard anything for 2-3 days, and I'm a little concerned that I haven't heard anything from the company. Is this normal? Or is Wyrd just a little overloaded at the moment, and my little 'ole email will be handled when they get to it? tl;dr: Whats the standard turnaround time on customer service issues. P.S. If this is in the wrong forum, please move it I won't mind (It just said miniature matters, and was talking about miniature companies)...
