I would recommend making a character that is strong against them all, kinda like the gunsmith, where they have different ammo, but for NB types like Nightmare, or Woe, and then make them Outcast so people can hire them, but also give them some stats where they are still useful in scraps that are not against NB.

I think you both make a valid point and not trying to sound like the game is bad just because of the NB, but I am saying that I don't want to go to a competitive tourny where I am going to be facing NB all the time. When I first started playign a year ago, I started out as Guild, and still play them from time to time, but I have noticed that there are a lot more advantages against the guild like Tuco and Lasruus*. So my ideas would include making another character that is a NB killing tank like Lasruus. (sorry for the wrong spelling of his name, but I am at college and don't have my book) I do know that the exorcist was made to hurt NB, but i havent played him that much because I don't really know how he works but I have heard others say that he is useful when everything goes right. so I just feel that a new character needs to be made to fight NB, maybe made an Outcast so everyone can hire him and have a fighting chance agianst the NB.

@Gollum528 That is the exact crew i faced. He played Dreamer and Pandora and Collodi and then he didn't activate until I activated all of mine. Now on the way home I did see a way I could have won since we were playing a Destroy the Evidence, or which ever has a neutral token in the center of the table. I was playing gremlins, so I had somer and two GM's. So the way I could have won was, activate a gremlin, then he makes me activate all mine, and then I take my war pig and get as close to the token as possible, then the hog whisper goes out and reactivates the war pig, the war pig then picks up the token giving me 1 or 2 VP and then I activate the GM's for the rest of the entire game. NOW I know this would have been a jerk move, and thats why I never considered it, but since that was an unfair fight, looking back it might have given me at least one win that night...

Lots of thoughts on this, So I feel that brawls seem to be unfair in tourys. I also feel 30 -35 points in a scrap seem to make it somewhat balanced again. I do feel that we shouldn't have played crews that somewhat fun, but the three of us do insane battles such as 80 point brawls or make up some new schemes and objectives. But then again, if were told its just a fun tourny to do on a sunday where there could be nobody or everybody why play the worst combo ever: Dreamer, Pandora, Collodi* (however you spell it). like somebody said on here, I would like to see Wyrd start helping some of the other factions with figures or stats that can hurt the neverborn...

hey guys and gals, I was at a tourney the other day and due to some real life things, only 4 people could make it. My group made up the 3 out of the 4. So pretty much we figured that it would be a fun tourny so we brought out some fun/competitive squads. I played gremlins, my father played vicks with dita, and my friend played kiria with mcmorning. The other player played pandora with the dreamer. Now this is where it is unfair. Not one of us got over 2 points when facing the neverborn crew. Now it could be fate, but in the discussion in the car on the way home, we started to realize that at 40 points and up the neverborn seem to have an unfair avantage. Even more so if you make it a brawl. It has gotten so bad that the 3 of us don't even want to play agiant a neverborn player, we would rather just give them the points and go eat lunch while we wait for a non neverborn player to play. Just wanting to know if anybody else agrees or disagrees?

They look good, and I know what you mean about the eyes! I got so frustrated that I started using a toothpick to put small dots over the eye until it was painted. Took a few extra minutes but was worth it. But good looking minis, I am interested to see what your Freikorps Librarian looks like!

The Tentacles look amazing! How did you get the shadow effect on them or did you just paint it from dark to light? Sorry to ask but trying to get my painting skills better!

Okay it was just one of those "Well it sounds like it is legal" kinda deals haha, and generally I would not have played Levi in that situation, but it was just a fun match and I wanted to see how many desolation engines I could get. I was 1 action away from getting my 3rd one on the board. But anyways thank you!

Hey guys, last night my dad and my friend and I were playing a match and had an issue come up. My friend walruspride got slaughter and my dad and I got something else. I was playing Levi (and not doing good) but had a ton of scrap counters around me and made steampunks several times. The question is: If I make a steampunk from a scrap counter, and either dad or walruspride kills it, do they get points for the kill? and second, if the model was killed and I used its scrap counter to make another one, do they get points for that one when they kill it?

My first mini that I painted was a clone trooper from the Star Wars miniature game. My first Malifaux piece I painted was the Lady J box. I did eventually repaint them, so I have seen my own progress in painting.

I don't think I understand where Kaeris comes in. The Arcane effigy would be the only special forces in the crew. Or I could be mistaken.

Hey guys, walruspride and I have come up with an idea and need to know if its legal or not. We have an idea on how to get the arcane effigy with Kiara to give her casting expert. This is how we thought we could do it. If you hire Hamelin, he has an ability: Growing Influence: Crews containing this model may hire one Ht 1 model from any Faction. If the model activates outside of 10" of this model, it is sacrificed at the end of its activation. We thought that this was possible what do you guys think?

I can't wait to play them, I am hoping to do well with them, I plan on Jones first then Ophelia so I have all the little gremlins for a mass battle!
