It makes sence when explained, but is the model technically affected? There's no resist for the model to make, and the not moving is part of the terrain piece for that turn is it not? Because if its a side effect does it count as the model having an effect on it specifically to be cleared with shrug off..? For example the mysterious effegy (terrain Piece) gives casting +1, could that be shrugged off? I recall my comment about the re-applying, as thats been effectivly countered...

Ref: kam, Don't forget models within 3(might be 2) of raspy gain frozen heart with some positioning you could save yourself that AP T I would also say that shrug off wouldnt work, as its Targetd at a terrain peice and the result of it is affecting the model.. like auras I'm sure it would still re-apply..

Careful going over it, I had some 'cheap' snow flock and it basicly turned into a paste with just the pva used to stick it to the base.. lovely tho, always nice to see a raspy crew

The only thing id mention with gremlins, dont forget the +1cost for out of faction hiring..

Either lillith or collodi's work straight out, collodis especially for the wicked dolls. Voodoo doll, vital for spreading the Poisen love.. Maybe an extra shell.of wicked dolls Stitched together. Thing I find with zoraida is, I tend to end up using her almost seperate to the rest of the crew, could just be me. So as the guy above says, pretty much any other neverborn models.. silurids, nephalim.. doppleganger and avatar Z play well also. Have fun with the hag!

My first post said you can kill a pigapult in one go, in return to the idea that its broken, its not. Spiky seemed to ask for a scenario in which you finish it.. so I provided one. Who saus pigapult hunting is a bad idea? If you leave it alone it can cause havoc.. again in my scenario blasts>collodi so a first turn pigapult death would be a good thing. Its not an auto win machine.

When dealing with object/high armour. The main bit that catches my eye, is the line.. to a minimum of 1, so don't ask yourself how to kill the pigapult in one hit, rather work out how to get 5.. In the scenario your asking me for, a wicked doll is capable of doing the damage... (0) to collodi (who if he wishes, can be pretty much anywhere on the board) (2) flurry Then either Poisen can finish it off or if you can prep it with melee expert and fast. Pigapults can be killed in 1-2 activations if you know what your doing . Again theoryfaux seems to be flipping high..

Evening all, So as my small group of mailfauxsters e increases, one of my good friends is looking at lucius (god knows we need guild players) and as its his birthday soon, I figured is get him the lucius box.. isn't that nice..? Anywho what I'm asking is, what does the box need additionally, I'm looking at the governers proxy and possibly a few hounds, but inevitably he'l want to expand.. so shoot.. what's a list he'l get the most use out of? I've seen the pigapult 1st activation of the game, kill an entire pandora crew and reduce the little lady to 2wounds.. yes she has her thing that she's great at, but drop those sorrows/dg and she may aswell go home. Some masters do have upperhands over others.. but let's not forget that the games won with tactics and luck if you let her set up and dictate to you, its you that's lost the game.. not her 'OP'd-ness' that's won it..

I would say yes, as its an effect of being 'killed' the first time, but if you can unbury and bury again before the closing phase (is it possible?) Then id think he'd stay alive with reactivate.. I think.. Ss

How about the marionettes ability to stop you cheating your defence for their next attack? And if were clumping collodi, your gonna have wicked dolls in there possibly stopping you from activating your rats, also 'clever placing' is quite a broad 'title' what can seem like clever placing Initially can very quickly turn into you blocking your own models.. Also let's not forget, your all comparing a master to a henchman, throw zoraida in there with her poisen 2 and obey and things get a little more difficult..

That's some hefty theory 'faux... Any volunteers for battle reps? I don't have a hamelin player yet but id love to see the overall score..

Hi all, So me and my ever expanding group have been playing malifaux for just over a year. We've had our rules disputes and grudge matches, the same, I imagine as everyone. But something we've not been doing, entirely due to having little to no malifaux scenery. is any of the random scenery/indoor/outdoor stuff. Now as more people are flocking to the 'faux banner from my LGG were looking at making it, so my questions: How many of you are limited in what scenery they play with, those of you who arent, does it effect the way the game plays at all? What have you made? What have you bought? Etc etc.. And discuss.. SS!
