  1. Due to a late drop out, I have a spare place at Vappa. If you want to come, or know someone who might, please let me know as soon as possible.
  2. He only gets the auto suit from Depression during his activation, so he wouldn't get it when Teddy is shoving the model towards him. He would still be min damage 3 though. Don't forget Teddy's Smell Fear in this sequence. Lure is a Wp resist, so Kade Lure's a model within 6" into himself and Teddy. Kade Pounces, Teddy Smells Fear.
  3. The Terror Tot should have dished out Black Blood twice in this case, not once (it obviously didn't matter in your example but for future reference). It took 1 Dg from Inflict -> Black Blood triggers -> Take one damage from Misery -> Black Blood triggers. Misery takes affect after resolving the current action, i.e. after they've taken the wound from Inflict.
  4. Thanks Jimmy, I'd appreciate it. Also, we have a new sponsor: Tiny Worlds! Find them at tinyworlds.co.uk. They've sent me some vouchers to give away so these will go to the best painted prizes and the two wooden spoons and I'll have a few for the raffle. They've also sent this: The mystery box will go into the raffle prize pool. It's all sealed up so I don't know myself what's in it. It's certainly pretty heavy so there's loads of stuff in there
  5. If you can mate, that would be great. I'd rather have too much terrain and not need it than not enough.
  6. If you can fit it in, then brilliant, if not don't worry, I'd rather you fit Pete in. It's more terrain I think I need at the moment.
  7. I thought you all might be interested in this bit of number crunching. The average ranking position of all players in the Lilith League is 70.28. The average ranking position of all players in the Dreamer Division is 68.66. So they're more or less as balanced as I can get them, rather than being a "group of death"
  8. We have another new event sponsor: Element Games! The top three winners in both divisions will get Element Games vouchers to go along with their trophies. Thanks to EG for being kind enough to support our event!
  9. Mike's asked me about grudge matches for round 1. I have to admit I hadn't thought about it, but I can't see an issue with it provided that both players are OK with it. Please let me know who you want to grudge and I will keep a list in the first post.
  10. Tournament split and scheme pools have now been added to the first post. I will add to and update the rulespack and put a link in the opening post.
  11. Brilliant, thanks Mike. All players will get raffle tickets into the prize raffle, but this year I'm going to sell additional raffle tickets (just for players, no one else) with the proceeds split between Help for Heroes and WAAC.
  12. Yep, no problem with that at all. During the event, the Vapnartak team will also be raising fund for the events chosen charity which is Help for Heroes (same as last year), which will be a cake sale, and a collection (they might be selling dice again like they did last year as well). Heads up on Vappa: I'll be posting who is in which of the two divisions in the next day or so (split broadly based on rankings positions, so 1st in one, 2nd in the other, and so on) as well as posting the scheme pool for each round to give people time to prepare.
  13. Here's an update on prizes so far. The winners in each division will get trophies, and there will be a prize raffle for all the rest of the swag... First, I've got this big stack of goodies: And just this morning, a new stack of prizes have arrived thanks to the kind support of Wyrd themselves: That's a root beer translucent Whiskey Golem, a Day Glow Dreamer box, a red bête noir and a ltd ed Katanaka Sniper! Plus other goodies. We'll also be adding to this prize pool with more goodies on the day from our sponsors bendyboards.co.uk and Ainsty Castings, and I'm hoping for more sponsors to come on board before the event as well. In addition to all players getting a custom Informant marker, each player will also get a black Arcane Fate Deck, thanks to Wyrd
  14. Thanks Bruno, that would be great. Yes, please Rob if you can bring a couple of tables worth that would be great.
  15. We came across an odd situation last night which in my local play group we haven't been able to resolve. A 30mm base model is stood on top of a scheme marker (although it could equally have been a corpse, scrap etc marker). Does that model block LoS to that marker from other models? Markers are considered HT0 as I recall. I've seen discussion around larger based models standing on markers which seems a bit clearer since they are larger than the marker but what about a 30mm model positioned on top of a 30mm marker? Does it block LoS to the marker?
  16. That would be perfect Chris, thank you. I've managed to sort another board locally (thanks to Nathan), so I'm just short on terrain now. This is probably about 6 tables worth.
  17. I'm going to need some assistance from Vappa attendees. Locally and with the help of the one and only Nate Zettle, I have access to 26 3'x3' boards and 21 sets of terrain. That means I need some help: can anyone bring along up to 2 3'x3' boards on the day? Also (and this one is a bit easier) can people bring along terrain with them? Thanks in advance!
  18. Thanks to our magnificent sponsor bendyboards.co.uk, all Vappa players will get one of these as a memento of the day: It's an Informant marker for use in the Extraction strategy in GG15 (coincidently, also the first strat of the day at Vappa ).
  19. Thanks for today, I very much enjoyed the event. Thanks for Nick, Mark, and Rob for three great games
