Thats the sort of feedback I was after. Think Exeter is probably the best local airport to fly to (better train service Exeter to Plymouth). I was thinking two day event was the best bet what SS level do you feel is best ? I was thinking 35ss fixed faction for rules set but totally open on rules pack advice My aim would be to run something for the community. So if people feel that a certain type of event is needed i'd be happy to talior it to suit.

Last year three of my local club members opened a gaming venue down here in the southwest. Its a great place able to host about 60 people. They are more than happy to host a Malifaux event if I am prepared to do the leg work setting it up. I know that for alot of the Malifaux regulars Plymouth is a long way from home. So my question is what sort of tournement would make you spend the time and money to make the trip ? Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Yep that was me I'm glad that my results got mucked up as it ment I got to play the top players rather than the mid players. Think I learnt more playing you and Mythic than I have any two games before or since. -

I should be there. Be my first Malifaux event since you ran the last one. :bounce: With luck the pairing system will work this time and I won't be announced as the winner after being soundly trashed all day by the top players :doh:

Don't the SS just go into your starting pool though thats how i read it ? ie 2 hounds 6ss cost 1ss into starting cache.

20 Guild Hounds would be cheating as that's 60ss ! 16 Guild hounds and a Govoners Proxy is exactly 50ss though

I Just rang shop to book ticket and got talked through paypal payment. Put my mind at rest that i wasn't just randomly sending off cash with the added bonus of getting to chat to friendly staff

Finally got the main rule book
Will have a look over it over the next few days so with luck i'll have some clue of the rules by Sat. Got my Lady justice crew assembled so will bring that along as well will probably only be undercoated though. Looking forward to meeting you guys and geeking out. -

but i should have it by wed or thursday. Decided that as you gone for Neverborn i'd focus on Guild to begin with and got more models to go with Lady justice crew. -

I got the 2nd one nice read just the rules and stats make no sense to me without the main rules Started to build up my Lady Justice crew so with luck should have that built and under coated for Saturday. When the rules turn up think i got some furious reading to do. -

Well got second book and 3 crews
The main rules i've just had to order again as the company i had ordered off no longer stock it. So i can start assemby and read some of the fluff (its very cool btw) But i can't start working out the core rules yet. With luck i should get main rules next week oh and some more minis (Decided to get a full guild crew) Just looking through second books got my mind buzzing with idears for creating some game boards and my girl friends decided she might give the game a try with Lilith.(Think it was the boots) Looks like my Skaven army will be moving to the back of the painting que -

Yeah 10th sounds good My stuffs not arrived yet but should be turning up some time this week. will let you know for sure closer the time be good to learn a new game with someone else. I've ordered Lady Justice and Cult of December crews so if your thinking of going for Ice will give you a chance to see how they play before commiting. I like most of the crews and ordered those two as i thought they would be easy to learn the rules with.
