  1. You are correct with the Soulstones for both Henchman and Masters. Henchman add their HR# to the Soulstones used to purchase models, probably why they're only limited to that many Soulstones in their pool. Master's caches however, are added after the crew has been built, leading to them having a starting pool of up to 8 (scrap) or 10 (brawl). All of this is in the Hire Crews portion of the Rules Manual
  2. Beautiful work. Is it just me or does Sebastion give you that "kindly old grandfather that might hug you or kill you" feeling?
  3. Thanks all. I just had no idea what Wyrd's Policy was for this type of thing.
  4. I was wondering what I am supposed to do if there is a model missing from a box set. Only my particular situation has some complications. I just got a Kirai box set from my FLGS. I took it home, cracked it, dug in until I found Kirai and built her. Afterwards I started looking for the Seishin to build, however I could not find it. I looked through the cards and found that I DO have a Seishin card, but not the actual model. So what am I supposed to do in this situation? Any advice is greatly appreciated. I'm also willing to say that if I don't manage to get the actual model I am willing to convert one because I have the card. Thanks all. NPEH
  5. I'd say no because the wording on the card says "or" instead of "combination of" type of thing.
  6. Resist duel first, then if failed, armor, object, etc. as needed.
  7. Fluff favorite has to be Lillith, though there's not much there for her. If you have a chance the Chronicles to the left also have great fluff. Best story there was a fight between Ortegas, Seamus, and Killjoy.
  8. You make a good point. It probably would've been worse if she was using her pistol at the time O_o
  9. I wondered what happened to her when the wave hit. Might have something to do with the fact she was in Nicodem's fortress fighting Plague. I don't think the Judge faired as well though...
  10. I agree. Thanks for the constructive crit. In all honesty this was the first non-thesis, non-research paper I've written in...I'm just going to say a long long time.
  11. The sweet, sweet sound of a hobbyshop caught up in too many games.

  13. Last Bit. Lilith wasn’t upset, in fact she was rather happy that Scaroth was so hurt. She had wanted him to die at some point, but his humiliation of being the only Nephilim to be hurt by the foolish Gremlin’s explosions was good too. She opened up a mental link with the Terror Tot closest to her, still recovering after its sprint to reach this spot. Lilith wasn’t even breathing hard. She told the Terror Tot to drink and sent the vortex of blood to the Tot. Then she focused on Ophelia who started to look rather nervous and started swinging with her greatsword, first up, over, around, and in an intricate pattern designed more to distract than hurt. While Ophelia’s eyes were on the blade she failed to notice Lilith moving closer with every swing. Lilith suddenly stopped her blade and launched Ophelia into the air with a great kick, punting her several yards away. She laughed as she turned to watch her Terror Tot. The Terror Tot was finishing drinking all of the blood, and already it had grown a few feet. The blades that it had for arms had shrunk back to reveal hands tipped with razor sharp claws. With one last slurp wings sprouted from the newly grown Nephilim’s back and horns burst through its forehead. The Nephilim roared and moved to attack Francois, standing a few yards away. Lilith laughed again and looked to see whether Ophelia had gotten up again. Ophelia had indeed gotten up, but she had bent over again to show more of her ample cleavage to Rami calling him over to her. Rami knew she was his kin, but his subconscious started guiding his body until he was within touching distance of her. She said to him “Shoot that bitch,” pointing at Lilith. “Shoot her as much as possible. I want her hurting for kicking me so hard.” Rami nodded stupidly before taking the time to aim down his extra long rifle. In the time it took him to aim Ophelia had unloaded her pistol into Lilith and making black blood start pouring from two wounds, one in her arm, the other near her naval. Rami couldn’t help but notice how pretty Lilith looked, even with the blood pouring from her wounds. He actually thought that it accented her rather well. He didn’t think he could shoot something as pretty as that, so he took three shots in rapid succession with his eyes closed. The extra long gun once again pounded him in the shoulder and chest, but the one time he did hit Lilith it just made a hole in her clothing. Francois meanwhile had taken his duelist stance. Quickly he pulled his pistol and unleashed two shots, one grazing Lilith’s cheek the other going wide. He knew he could go faster though and he took another shot, but again his gun jammed on him. Expecting it to go off again he pointed it straight at Lilith, but it just backfired a bit in his face. Lilith had had enough. She was wounded and losing blood from several gunshot wounds and that slowed her down significantly. She called out to her Lieutenant mentally and commanded him to get the little Gremlin Bitch who was getting a little too big for her oversized britches. Scaroth wounded and bleeding that he was managed to work up a flying charge against Ophelia and her kin. His bulk was so great he pounded Ophelia into the ash and stood up. Seeing their leader taken down so easily frightened the other two Gremlins more than they would like. Rami strangely stayed put and dropped his rifle preparing to hurt the beast in front of him. Francois however could not stand the sight and reverted back to his time before Francisco. He ran, and ran hard and fast to the edge of the battlefield. Scaroth was too hurt to care about catching Francois so he turned instead to Rami and calmly beat him down to take his blood. Lilith wanted him to kill the Gremlins at his feet, but he didn’t want to follow her orders. He instead covered them in their own green blood and claimed their death, though he had taken a piece of Raphael’s toe before covering him in blood early on. Lilith didn’t notice the ruse as she directed her Terror Tots towards the Gremlin wagon, ordering them to kill the pigs hauling it along. She walked up to the wagon and held her greatsword in her hands focusing on all of the weak points of the wagon before slicing it to the bits of scrapwood it was composed of. Scaroth had flown towards Francois, but he had run off and hidden somewhere and it was not worth catching him. Lilith thought to herself, with the Gremlins taken care of we can finally get this ritual started. We may have lost our black blood shaman, but we don’t need him to make these sacrifices. She called the cart over with the humans still screaming and crying in it. She turned to them and smiled her most horrifying smile. “Let’s begin shall we?” Francois got back up a few hours after the screams had finally stopped. All of the Nephelim had gone and he walked back to the battlefield, hat in his hands trying to find survivors. To his surprise all of his kin were alive and well. The only one that had died was Sloppie, taken by Lilith’s hand. After spending time slapping Ophelia awake she groaned, turned over and started digging. “Well boys,” she said “today wasn’t a total loss.” She held up four Soulstones, three glowing with their green light, while the fourth was dark and dead, presumably to heal Ophelia as she slept. The Gremlins all grinned and headed back to the Bayou.
  14. Part 2. Lilith wasn’t happy with how this scrap was turning out. Her shaman was wounded and losing his blood, that impetuous lieutenant of hers, Scaroth, had only provided some blood for a spell instead of dying, and her precious Terror Tots had run off to have some fun without her. She ran forward commanding the wagon filled with humans to start moving towards the site. Lilith was the master of this land, so the ash, the trees, everything moved to her will. She readied her greatsword for some bloodletting and forced a tree to move around her as she charged the Gremlin who was still face first on the ground, next to the female Gremlin, Ophelia. She leapt into the air and brought her greatsword down through the Gremlin on the ground pinning it in place as its blood flowed up and formed a small vortex around her. Grinning she looked at Ophelia and licked her lips hungrily, then laughed as the Terror Tot that had shot off ahead of her finally caught up. Francois, who had been watching everything that had happened and was deciding where best to go decided to go kill the wounded and masked Nephilim, not wanting to risk hitting Ophelia in the combat that was sure to follow Lilith’s charge. He moved towards the Nephilim and took his time aiming, getting a perfect head shot, or so he thought. When he pulled the trigger the gun refused to fire. He started to turn it around to see what was wrong with it the gun went off taking off his hat and part of his ear. Francois turned backwards, grabbed his hat and grumbled something about Francisco never having to deal with the shoddy weaponry before turning and unleashing his entire pistol into the masked Nephilim leaving it as nothing more than a mist of black blood. Ophelia looked around at the fight in between dodging strikes from Lilith’s greatsword and did not like what she was seeing. Pere was close enough to blow up all the Nephilim, and if she timed it right she would avoid the blast. She called out to him “Pere!” “Yeah, cher?” he said distractedly, looking between the fire brand in his hand and the pink blade-armed Nephilim in front of him. “Time to play with fire Pere!” Ophelia shouted ducking down to avoid a head removing swing and taking a shot at one of Lilith’s feet. Pere grinned like a maniac and lit his pig’s black powder bladder. The explosion reached far, consuming all of the Nephilim and Pere himself. Ophelia saw the blast coming and took two steps back. The blast warmed her face and made her squint, but it missed her by about 2 feet. When the smoke cleared Pere was left grinning still, covered in soot and smoke from the blast. He looked around and saw all the Nephilim still standing, a bit stunned by the explosion, but none the worse for wear. That made him mad. “Yeah!” He shouted with wrath in his voice, “Let’s see if ya’ll can take round two!” pulling his emergency black powder bladder from his “special” pouch in his back. Ophelia stared in amazement as another explosion filled the air. This time the large winged Nephilim came hurtling out of the explosion covering itself in ash and smoking as it lay on the ground. It got back up to its feet and looked like it was on its last legs. Again the Nephilim were unharmed. Lilith brushed some soot off of her sword, stared hard at Ophelia and asked, “Is that the best you can do?”
