  1. Actually that's a viable tactic, and I use it a lot, just in smaller scale. I don't like Mortimer, and I outright refuse to use him, he isn't worth 7 points to me. I love Sebs though, I take him all the time because his damage is outstanding as well as that skill, Bloody Harvest. I tend to use just a few dogs, more like 4 or 5, not a whole crews worth. With that Nico has more than enough fuel to power his murder-mobile. As for the Crow problem, I just use extra Soulstones for that. Just lay down a 5 - 8 of crow and soulstone the remaining amount. You have to summon one thing at a time but up to 3 is still good.
  2. Sandy is a dirty WoW player. =P
  3. I certainly don't think the Punk Zombies are broken, they are pretty squishy if not bolstered. They are definitely my bread and butter model though, I love them so so much. Haha The Belles are great too because for 4 SS you get a (potentially) model with 8 Wd, 5 Df, Hard to Wound, and 8 Cb. I see how it's possible to get a lot of damage from Crooked Men, but the mines they lay are usually just for deterring people, they don't usually get stepped on. My luck with nurses is much the same, I don't want to spend 5 points on a model that doesn't do that much. For the same amount, I like to take Punk Zombies. The Grave Spirit and Vultures are much like Sebs and Morty to me. It depends on who I am against. If I am against living or Undead things, I will take vultures because they can run in there and grab the counters for me but if I am facing something that does not or something with a lot of heavy hitters, I will take the Grave Spirit. I like to start with one belle and tag the Spirit to her, now she is nearly impossible to kill.
  4. I'd check the last page here http://wyrd-games.net/forum/showthread.php?t=6986&page=30 That has a lot of people from all over the place.
  5. Collodi anyone? [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_z-hEyVQDRA[/ame]
  6. Necropunks are pretty nice for their cost. They are good for running up, getting killed, and popping out Killjoy or even Bete Noire. If you are going against a lot of range, you can use them...or anyone's Slow to Die to give the finger to your enemy as you claim Plant/Destroy evidence. Provided you aren't in melee. Altogether they are pretty cheap models to go out and grab objectives. On another note, instead of always taking a final swing with Slow to Die, you can always use it to take a walk towards Nico to get that precious Corpse Counter closer.
  7. The pigs don't fall back though. When they get scared, they charge.
  8. I believe it would be whoever summoned them. When you take control of something, that one thing is yours to command for an activation, it isn't really carried over to anything else unless an ability says otherwise. Maybe controlling a victoria or something...I dunno... As for your question, no...I don't think you'd gain control of the summoned models therefore...you'd be doing them a favor.
  9. Yeah it says when this model does damage with a melee attack, heal it an equal number of Wd.
  10. That's true, my brother plays Seamus pretty exclusively and even though he takes 90% Belles...So'mer has so many more little dudes, it's ridiculous.
  11. Haha, I never thought about that...I don't see why not, but I don't know anything about Pandora's spells or anything.
  12. For Lucius... ...I didn't know they stacked $#!t that high!
  13. Yeah, I had to rely on ol' Sebs with his saw of whirling pain...and that was mighty effective and he has yet to let me down. If I didn't have him or those Punk Zombies, I woulda been dead...er The Dreamer is the one to beat at our LGS.
  14. What our Henchie does is basically give us the point amount and an hour before the fighting starts we write up our lists with masters, henchmen, minions, etc. Our Soulstone pool is also listed at the bottom of the cards. We have a rule that states you cannot play a model which is not released to the public, however you may proxy so long as you have the actual Wyrd card for the model. After that he calls out random matches and we play on boards that have been set up ahead of time with the terrain and shared objectives. We don't use the special features (Graveyard, Dark Omens, etc) because that can give someone an extra advantage and he likes to keep it as fair as possible. How fair is it if you are playing Pandora with Alone in the Dark? It isn't set up as a single elimination but rather a round robin sort of setup. Where everyone gets to play everybody at least once. At the end we tally up the total amount of VP everyone has won and award people based on that. In the event of some uneven match-ups, or an odd number of players, there is a "bye" system setup where someone will get to sit out one match but he/she still earns the average amount of all of the games played in that round.
  15. Yes, I've also seen Lure work wonders on them as you pull their own guys into the piggies way so that they get charged instead. I am not much of a Guildie so I don't know the specifics of that spell.
  16. We've never used Alps because in our group, they are next to useless. Everyone who's ever had to deal with them, including myself, has always had the right amount of AoE to make them pretty much easy points. I am glad they worked for you though, and statistics aside, I love the way they look.
  17. Hayzel is our very own Neverborn Princess... If you need help with the Resurrectionist's hordes, I'd be happy to help! aaannnddd Nathan is our wise and benevolent leader.
  18. Yes, that is what I try to do. Since I am not one to use Mercs...other than the ones that are already not alive (my homie KJ and Jack Daw) I tend to use that totem for 2v2's and buffing my allies that are not dead but would be super insane-o with an extra +2 Cb/Df Like Teddy, Steamborg Executioner, or even Joss. Although it kinda ticks me off that there are so few people willing to do these 2v2s hahaha...that's another topic though.
  19. That's pretty nice! The more I hear of him, the more I want to try him out. I suppose it's just a matter of buying him.
  20. =P Fair enough...and don't call me Shirley
  21. They are corpse counters...all the time undead or alive hehe
  22. They are decent. I've seen them used with Marcus and Rasputina...and of course Marcus works wonders with them. A lot of people forget they are Harmless which has saved him a few times. They have average Cb and Df and they're Dg is awesome if you can keep them healed or you happen upon a lot of crows and you aren't facing armor. Personally, I like them. Since I don't play Marcus or the Arcanists that much, I really haven't invested in them but I can see their worth.
  23. That was hilarious Ratty...something I should see on my breakfast cereal. Nico's I am going to Hell if I put Sonnia's on here.
  24. I tried using it in a 2v2 with Ramos' Steamborg. I was just thinking of Nico's buff...the table screwed me out of it, but I can see it would've been fantastic.
