  1. Since finishing my Showgirls I have tried to change the original title of the thread to "paint WIP" so its not as confusing when you see all the rest of my models when posted but I guess I'm just going to have to start a new thread. So I'm worried that nobody has posted anything on the rest of Collet's crew. is it because I dont stray too far from what they are painted in the WYRD pics? should I try different colors with all the other crews?
  2. Thanks. I reflect to when I first got into miniatures. I had models as a kid and micro machine but none of my friends played anything remotely like Malifaux. We usually played outside or video games when indoors. One day I passed by a game store and saw what I thought was tank models that turned out to be 40k rhinos. I walked in to take a look and asked a few questions then went home and found a whole world of gaming I had never seen before. The first time I heard about Malifaux was on a podcast and came to the website to get more information but I didn't really know what I needed. I had to que up the old podcast and listen again to get more answers.
  3. I'm not sure which Crew to paint next.
  4. Looks really good. I'm going to have to step it up to match this.
  5. What I'm trying to point out is if a person who has never played a tabletop game before and was witness to a game or heard by word of mouth about Malifaux was to look up the website there is no real list of what is required to play. we know that we need a rulebook, deck of cards, tape measure, models, table, 2nd player. Some people need an easier navigation through the website to locate answers for their questions. I think the "Games" button at the top of the screen should maybe be called "New to Wyrd?" or "are you Wyrd?" in a bigger font that grabs attention and from there it takes a person off the street and into the world of Malifaux (a porthole maybe!)and describes the tools they will need and how they interact with the game and then navigate them to a local Henchman who can hook them and sink thier money into the company.
  6. I'm not a Henchman (application pending) yet but it would be nice to have a direct link to a summary of what a new player (never played tabletop miniature games before) has to purchase. example what you need; Rulebook link Expansion (optional) link cards link table space 2'x3' starter box link opponent Henchmen list and the location of the home stores
  7. I totally agree and what I'm looking in to right now is trying to pull off a magical effect to mask the wires. Kind of like they just materialized and flew up from the ground or swooped over a fence.
  8. just googled and I think it came up on amazon or something. I remember it took a week to find them. It was a private seller and half of them were broken because she thought that she could put them in an envelope with bubblewrap. I msg'd her about it but not to be worried because I knew how to use glue. AH here it is http://www.etsy.com/listing/52981863/set-of-4-miniature-vintage-70s-red-dove
  9. Posted dove proxies, Cassandra and the other performer
