Hi Mike,
Long time no see - but I heard it through the grapevine that you have moved a bit further North and are getting back into Malifaux.
I played you on table one in a local tourney down in Northern Virgina a few years back and recall a certain killer instinct combined with amiable personality.
I wanted to invite you to BKFaux, our first 2-day 'GT' style event in the North East, to be held May 14th-15th. We are looking to keep growing the Northeast tournament scene, and this will be the largest event to date at 44-players.

Yup, just moved up to PA a couple hours north of DC along route 95. Found a store a bit south in MD that I go to now - the henchman down there is Maht.
Thanks for letting me know about the BKFaux - let me ponder this one. I convinced my wife to give me a pass to GenCon this year, and another to visit with some of my old college buddies. I will have to build up some good will to get another pass this year too. Is this an annual thing? Might be easier to convince the wife on a non-GenCon year.

Cool! I'm in Philly quite often (in laws) so maybe I can bring my toys and get in a game some time.
This is the first time BKFaux has been run as a two-day event. I will definitely run other events in the future, but really trying to fill this one to set the precedent and keep the event as a two-day 'GT'!

Cheers man, it was no problem. It was funny, from afar I am sure we just looked like one of the many casual games going on. Once I was able to take Nix out early the pressure was off, so no worries!

Hey Bill, Any info on the rules for the Nova Friday tournament other than 30SS and fixed faction? Will we be flipping strategies or will it be fixed scenarios? I ask as I'd like to run a warm-up type tournament with similar rules at the Strategist a few weeks prior to get everyone pumped up.
