  1. 8ss cache for scraps, 10ss cache for brawls Had any more games yet btw Er1k? How are the Viks going?
  2. To let you know, this is now up on Ebay - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270713035240&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT#shId happy bidding if you interested.
  3. Atlanta, right by the Wyrd Miniatures building is my guess.
  4. Something I have been playing around with when I use Crid - Crid or Totem(like the totem version for this myself as its an early activation, saving Crid for other dutys) casts a flame wall Granny Ortega uses Obey to walk unactivated model into wall - it takes 3 damage. Model will activate in a flame wall and takes another 3 damage. Not especially easy to get off all the time, but is cool.
  5. I really like the Viks, and use them quite a lot. They are a lot trickier to use well than some of the other masters though. To add to them for now I would say a pack of ronin is a very good purchase. They will be your cheap filler grunts in many games at any points. They also hit well and are very manouverable. Taylor rocks and I tend to use her whenever the Viks are on the table. Cant beat her as a solid anchor for your force. At 25 points I often use Taylor, two ronin and the Viks, giving a 7SS stash. Dont overlook Bishop though, although a high costed figure, he can do some amazing things, it just takes a bit of practice to get him working smoothly for you.
  6. Hi I am based in the UK and have 1 Gremlinette. I would be interested in trading it, so maybe make me an offer. Please note that I would prefer other Malifaux stuff for it rather than money. Cheers, John.
  7. Started on my Leveticus crew at last - great figures that deserve a great paintjob. Well I think i managed to get a good paintjob, so it could be worse.(thats where it comes to my camera skills) and my special canine remains proxy - hope you enjoy, John.
  8. Still the base to go, but have finished painting Granny Ortega that I picked up on saturday. She looks a blast to play(pun intended) and she sure was a nice one to paint - Enjoy - John.
  9. Not strictly a film, but a very long series- LOST man I loved it all bar the rediculous lame ending.
  10. A final word for now - Misaki was not a joy to paint for me lol. Blending is not my forte - never really tried it before - but i was very pleased with how she turned out in the end.
  11. The austringer and misaki show the completely finished base scheme I have for my guild and outcasts, and alyce's base shows the new style I am using for my Leveticus force. Hope you enjoy, just a few of my bits.
  12. heres a few shots of some of my things, finnally we found the lead for the wifes camera, -
  13. thats why i said models LIKE the doppelganger, ie : models of that ilk - shapshifters etc etc, things to come... hehe joys of forums and how different meanings can be read into the same sentance.
  14. and lest we forget models like the doppelganger, who copy stats.....
  15. Hi, just a quick question - In the fancy errata Hans damage is listed as 1/2/5, whereas in the printable errata, he is listed as 2/2/5. Which is the one to go with???
  16. Heh, what I meant was failed to damage him significantly, sorry.
  17. Tried him out today with my proxy in lieu to picking him up soon, as reading the card it looked ok, but i was not quite convinced. turn one moved up flank fast(cost - 1 card) turn two - dumped a card to move, shot Teddy and realed him in to melee range, then applied a hit. he was reduced to defence 2 and unmoveable with a low attack flip which I let happen. turn three, he had taken 5 wounds off the Teddy, but then went medieval on it and shredded it up, then dumped a card and headed to the center of the board. turn four had him sprint towards a weidergeist lurking near my deploment zone on the far side of the table. 15" of move in one turn , unimpeded by terrain, absolutley fantastic. turn five got him into melee reach of the weidergeist turn six had the weidergeist fail to damage him due to the armour and some handy weak hits, where upon he flurried the weidergeist into little bits earning me a draw in the battle (opponant had a declared scheme to get into my deployment zone). Overall, I was mostly impressed by the speed of this thing which is so so useful, and being arachnid, hard to deny, especially amongst my quite slow collection of other figures. I feel this will definately be a model I will look to purchase soon, and a valuable addition to my guild crew.
  18. I like it. The face has come up great, and the eyes look fantastic. He has a real great expression of disdain about him. Good choices of colours too, it all sits together well.
  19. Well I have got my mini's finished. So I present my first crew, Sonia Crid and her Guild, with a mercenary suppliment. For me the pictures came out half decent for a change, god bless my wifes camera. Sonia - Samuel - 2 of the Stalkers - (3 are done, but the others photo stank) And support from Hans Hope you enjoy my first outings into the malifaux world
  20. Played my first game the other day and really loved it, so felt enthused to take a few shots of my band as they progress. These are a couple of shots (not a camera expert here by any means, and my camera always seems to wash out the colours oddly) of some of my first painted mini's for malifaux, Samuel and 2 of my witchling stalkers. I know the bases are not done yet, but I want to finish the whole box and do them as one lot to make sure they blend nicely together. My brush has totally given up the ghost on me, being down to about 2 hairs left on it, so a few days delay for the rest of the crew and my Hans Mercenary Sniper. Still hope you enjoy - Samuel - Witchling Stalkers -
