  2. that's the issue, fast in neverborn (required to get the buff and charge or attack twice) is not common, dreamer and emissary can give it but its not easy for the emissary. the push from Yu also helps move them from cover for a charge
  3. has anyone tried performers with Lucius? Able to interact in a fight and scheme marker tricks are great for Lucius. you could go for a wicked doll/lawyers to spam poison for the performers to pop or go wladerguiest/pathfinders and uproot people for 2 damage and pull them next to a trap a combo of the 2 uproot people and walk them next to a trap that snaps and poisons CUs of a wicked doll, aim for the attack trigger to poison more, then expunge last small addition would be tannen to lower wk for better traps and hamper cheating for things like traps and seduction
  4. hi guys, what do you think to running blood wretches with 10t Jacob and yu, give the wretch fast and move it into a charge lain with Yu and then make 2 pumped attacks, each drawing 2 cards and discarding an ace. take 2 wretches for huge draw
  5. some combos are things like illuminated, bb shaman, lawyer. Bb and fees the illuminated and it starts wrecking from splash damage pathfinders and dopple ganger give alot of ability to tie up and drop markers wial still being able to shoot in your self Lucius can devils deal traps for free ss add in austringers and make that hidden weapon Lucius dream come true changelings and traps make for a super anouying tar pit sue can give finish the job to a trap that you then devils deal for Ss for a scheme marker and a soul stone use wrath and some guild dogs for tones of attacks with a damage buff you can run Lucius as a nightmare guy to debuff wp with insidious madness attack spam and use widow weaver to tack advantage of fails friendly horro duels

  7. agreed that you should bin dashal, I don't do rifle men, I prefer austringers if I need snipers and path finders for midrange guns. Dogs are good for activations, guild are a little better but neverborn are nice near lucius lawyers are great and I recommend taking 1 for your first few games as a safty then make the call if you want to keep them get a doppelganger, they felt week to me untill my 20th or so game with them, then I got it illuminated are your solid core, walds and young are a tad cheaper but the illuminated is a 8.5ss worth modle, so its hard to beat. keep the hench and enforcers to a minimum, by all means take them, just don't put alot of stones there from there just play about, Lucius is my favorit master in this game as when I play him even though I hemorrhage modles I still feel like I'm in control, just experiment and find your style ps I havnt proxid the emissary yet but super looking forward to him
  8. I'm coming to terms with the 10 thunder brewmaster, 2 things are 2 performers enough damage or should I take a beater I'm struggling to get enough poison, especially if I'm not taking grems

  10. yh lust was something I just picked up on. The reactivates might be useful as I'm struggling to get the stuff I want and still have a decent activation number
  11. hi ninja squad, I'm looking for some tips running brewie as a 10t, I read the wiki but its mostly grem focused. dose 10t brewie still act as a 3" bubble of hate or dose he take on a new role? any super good synergies? and what dose a simple starting point for a list look like? something That looks good to me is using ama, use swig and blind drunk conditions to counter her low mi, use obey for terrifying paralysis and then devour, or use brewis own 3 poison paralysis.

I normaly use 2-3 guild with my Lucius but in a campaign setting Tha isn't as easy, so I decided to go widow I have some nice barberos plans based on stacking traps and channelings' to bog people down and finish of weaklings that get thrown there way, but ill save them to try in normals insted I'm starting widow, insidious and changelings to cripple wp and spam shots then move into a doppelganger and corpelious so I can take some eyes on guys. is there and strong wp based attack preferably on a minion that I'm missing, insidious looks to be the best?
  14. ok, my mind was thinking wrath or angle eyes as they are both independent and wrath supports a death by 1000 cuts minion spam style. I like the barberos idea works to guard a more melee lucius spawn makes some sense as more minions is good, but she I fragile widow might work to, ill do some thinking. vasilisa move when schemes are placed and can drag a puppet letting a single stitched become a gambling nightmear. Would she fall flay withought colodi support?

  16. hi, I have been a malifan since first edition but never realy had a big local group, so I have finally got the courage to ask, is there any mainly/heavly malifaux groups in the Lincolnshire area in England, I live in Boston so the closer the better, but I'm open to travelling if the group is good

I'm of a different opinion, I think take modles that can burry, and try and fast 1 modle of worth rather than 2-3 piddly things. an example, nothing beast and 2 wretches, if you do fast all then they have higher defence, and you have alot of potential burrys draining enemy cards, and at that at that pt value losing 1 guy Is devastating, although a hybrid is possibly best, 2 wretches and a bishop or a convict, 1 thing to g get fast and reap huge rewards from it and wretches scheming and going for burrys
  18. my suggestions would be 10t lynch/lucas, fantastic coverage, lynch is ok with wastrels as they discard, Lucas likes illuminated as he likes strong minions. Lynch kills Lucas runs. arcanist kereis/ironsides, they both like the captin, they both like oxford mages, they both dont mind Ss miners. Iron is good at mixing it up and bunching together. Keris is mobile and with the raptor trick can do alot of schemes easy
  19. either way the dopple couldn't take it as wether the upgrade Claus included leader or not it would still be an upgrade your trying to take of. But with that ability it is leader stat cards and and upgrades attached to the leader

  21. were not saying the malifaux starter, but the Lilith crew box, sadly it has barberos, another option was the nephilim box with some young's and a mature. the starter wouldn't be that bad even if you still want to use barbaros. Barbs big gimmicks are pushes and protection and that works ok with the blood wretches and the scion wretches can use there damage buff and still attack if they are fed modles by barb and they heal of kills, so being given a modle on 1 wd that they can charge at is a a easy heal the scions shotgun blasts like modles clumping up, and with the right card you can get another nice heal from a weakened modle wretches and scion both have no defensive skills meaning that barbs challenge can offer good protection
  22. I realy like the starter box for nb, my favorit master Lucius (one of the weekest) looked to benefit and my second Jacob seemed to get some interesting discard shenanigans from them. But the feed back seems underwhelming
  23. the benifits for Lucius are a free scheme marker from his 0, and he can remove failed horror duel paralysis, I dont know if its worth it but it was an idea
  24. I thought Levi ignored armor and htw and but not triggers or Witch is what the hooded uses so he should be ok
