  3. Something that may be worth taking note of with the effigy is if you want to manifest a master and your not doing a turn 2 ramos (that requeres the toolkit) or something similer then you will get to keep the effigy after manifestation meaning you still get a sort of totam for the whole game
  4. Ok, cool, its just my fave is ramos and he is much better around the 50ss brackit, I do have all however so I'm looking for who dose well at low ss brackits. I really like what the effegiy brings, and I thought the ability to move him and buff the caster would be strong, lots of electrical fires or whatever the caster can do. And with the msu list I'm just tinkering atm as I'm on holaday and only have the 3rd book with me Forgot that the doll was a doll (duh) meaning its not compatable with karieas and the tool kit is stronk on rammos, could it not work with tina?

Hi, I'm back after a long time away and I have 3 things to talk about First, what it the best arcanist master for 35 and below games Second, I'm likeing the arcane effigy, is it a good substitute totem for tina, ramos and burny ladey. Thierd, has anyone tried a list build that uses ss miners, union minners and a quick msu member for a list that can dissapear and reapear next to a maste to alpha stricke?

  7. hi guys, im thinking about what to run as my main marcus build, and i cant finde any good use for rams, he can heal with them, but there isnt anything he has that uses them often, so what do you guys do with yours

  10. ill acept you first point about tina and sonia. but on the movment front collodi can do 42 inches in a turn. lcb about 24 and zoraider can fly 20, and all of that can be done fairly easy wear as collet needs triggers and the like. The toughnes one again is 6 of 1 and half a dozen of the other, And marcus is very much a glass canon, ask anyone who uses a cat and they all say it can kill one thing for sure, but will then get slaughterd, like marcus himself he has to hit and run, or be very very lucky this is the problem im finding with the arcanists if you have only 1 master to use, your done for unless you want to compleatly ignor the masters theme and synergys and then your risking it, but in the other groups if you have one you are competant at anything and maintain a good amount of theme and synergy. i now have three and im going to be getting the 4th because i got ramos to start with and my first two games i got recointer and turf war and was like ah well ill jus try and kill them of then shall i

  13. hi, all of the groups have a niche, but at the same time if you have all the masters in any group you can fill any role, so what is the arcanist niche, i feall its versitility, but as i say, you get all of any groups masters and your very versitial. my thoughts are guild: straight up damage rezzers: tough neverborn:tricky/quick/melee outcasts: "special" (all have some very special rule) arcanist: ?
  14. i no the stoke thing dosnt work i jus thought it made sence to stake the fire, didnt think fo that, maybe not then, the speed is nice but 14 ss is a bit expensive
  15. hi just a thought for a crew tina 8ss/5ss cache essence of power 2ss coryphee*2 14ss silent one 6ss ice golem 9ss/3 gamin 12 ss the essence and silent one are self explanitory. The coryphee makes a duet and gets nuked by tina (bullet proof and evassive will mean it only takes one damage each time, and it can heal every turn) wial sliceing and diceing the enamy, also the duet gives her much laking manoverablility as it could split into two and go of and do objectives. and the golem/gamin are there as a guardian/speed bump for tina. ow and just a unrelated thought, kearis should be able to take the brass aracnid, the idea of stokeing the fire is just to cool
  16. hi, im sure this has been asked/answerd but i did a search and couldnt finde it, can tina cast pillers every turn to end up with six lots of 2 in play, it says once per turn so i presume so, thanks guys

  18. i see your point chocobo, but the essence can cast all three utility spells easy enough, so you only end up with an extra spell if you want to cast anothere curse (and why wouldnt you ), but i wouldnt have thought you would just want to curse three times in a turn, you will still need to drop your pillers and the like
  19. i just dont see the power of the soc, yh it gives you fast, but its an all action within 3", so if tina moves once she cant get it that turn, i just dotn see it for the cost, essence followes her around has a higher ca and a tome so can cast the ice pillers basicly giving tina fast cus of one more action, and the essence is 2 ss cheeper
  20. hum nice, i only orderd one silent one, and i have had "isues" with hans befor so how about swaping hans for kearis and one silent one for a cerberus, ill be one ss down on your list, but more manoverable hopfully
  21. had'nt considerd hans but now you mention it, it does make sens, are gamins still used alot or have they gone out of fashion. also hoarcat prides they seem a bit iffy.

  23. i think he can be hired, i have no rules to back this up, only my fealing, but he says he can only be hired by crews containing one of the hamlins, the only crews that can hire the vanilla hamlin hire him as a merc, so that means no crew could get nix by haveing vanilla hamlin, so why would they include vanilla hamlin in the rule
