  1. Well, considering I talked with Werner about a game for his minis 4 years ago, and using resolution other than dice 3 years ago, this is not something that they are just whipping up out of the blue. Now, I would be a little disappointed if they were too similar.
  2. Well, since I've only been playing the game for less than a month, I may not entirely know what I'm talking about, but I had similar problems early. I own 8 gremlins, 4 piglets and 4 skeeters, and almost never field all of any of them. Let's run down the issues: 1) Gremlins die too easy. Cover, LoS, Defensive Stance and giving the opponent more critical targets to attack will help this. Also, if Gremlins die, more important things aren't dying, and everything else is more important. 2) Som'er Teeth-seeking missles. ST usually doesn't move my first turn as he is casting Get Yur Bro and/or healing Skeeters. Warpig should frighten any master because 3 attacks at 3/5/7 Dam with a +flip on the Dam will give any model pause. Skeeters can damage and/or tie up stuff at range. 3) really tough models--keep the warpig alive and he can kill an entire opposing force, use your numbers to overwhelm when possible (Stampeding piglet + 2 skeeters can clear out a cluster of any force) Strengths of the Bayou Gang: a) numbers--you will start with maybe twice the activations as your opponent, so you can always out-wait your opponent. Pull My Finger--auto-damage burst spell that can ignore some of your own troops. c) Stampede--Stampeding pigs should be feared by your opponent, and if he doesn't, you need to teach him d) lots of healing--there are alot of ways this army can heal itself e) speed--only Skeeters can't go Reckless, Skeeters fly, pigs can be pushed all around the board 10" at a time f) fun--since I grew up in a place with an accent, I can lay it on thick; lots of flavor in the abilities/actions/spells names, etc. g) summoning all over the place h) Som'er Teeth can empty your opponent's hand with no opposed flip
  3. I use 3"x5" 4-up photo sleeves and wet or dry erase markers (whichever I have handy). I prefer dry erase, but they mar most laminates. Individual sleeves are made, but are hard to find, so I went with the 4-up sleeves. There are also 3"x5" photo wallets, but I didn't think of it until after I had the pages.
  4. "War Pigs" of course![ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gbxfe7DMxVo]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gbxfe7DMxVo[/ame]
  5. Me an' the boys had a grate ol' time. Ol' Sabbath et his fill, an' Solomon and Gideon ruted aroun' an' found sum trufels, but we hadda cook up por Laz'rus. Jofiel an' Raziel buzzd roun' makin' pests uv themselves, but then Uriel had to be a Killjoy. Doc Doug was tough on Cleophas an' Gomer, but didn't mind us 'splorin' his forest. Nate an' Jubal didn' like Seamus an' them Belles cuttin' on them one bit, but we liked da freebees. Zeke an' I wood like ta picnic with Perdita 'gin rite soon. She even hepd me wit' my trezur. Y'all cum back. --S. T. Jones, Esq.
  6. How is the scoring done if time is up and we are not on turn 6? Also, I assume, after time is called, we still finish the turn? Or does play halt?
  7. But with their own Adepticon rules on how a PP tourney should be run.
  8. Adepticon would likely require some screwball rule like "all minis need to be on GW bases", or "only GW paint and wet blending".
  9. Gargathor! I'm thinkin' about coming up for the 5/1 tourney. I look forward to seeing you.

  10. Don't forget Som'er Teeth's composition restrictions.
  11. I wouldn't have it any other way.
  12. I'll be there to be abused by the others. Only way to learn.
