Hello everyone, the local gaming group at Dragons Lair Comics and Fantasy in Austin Texas is starting up an escalation league next week. Every Wednesday in september as well as the first 2 weeks in october at about 8 pm we will be playing in league games. The first 2 weeks are at 25 soulstones and we are going up 5 ss every two weeks. More information will be present on the first league day.

Yeah yeah I figured now that we have so many new people I might as well do something for them. hopefully they all take after you in the attendance department.

Hello people! I have been out of the loop for sometime but I am back and want to get things started again so for the rest of August I will be running demos at Dragons lair comics and fantasy on Wednesday nights (the 10,17,24,31) from 5pm until they kick us out of the store if we have enough people Our play group is getting bigger now so I plan on running practice games to get everyone up to speed and then possibly run a league in September if things work out. I have been dumping most of my free time into this game as well! Although last night I got the explorer perk and almost peed myself when I saw how many places there were to explore...and found myself giving up on any and all missions I had just to explore... Cass and I are currently trying to wade through the hordes of Ghouls that are hanging around a nuclear testing facility....I plan on putting life on hold again this weekend

When: Starting tomorrow, the 18th at 7 pm Where: Dragons lair austin 6111 Burnet Road Austin, TX 78757-3226 (512) 454-2399 What: An escalation league for Malifaux, it will run for 8 weeks, tomorrow and next week will be 25 ss games and every two weeks the points will go up by 5 maxing out at 40ss by the end of the league

1) Lilith is a beast in close combat obviously, she has fast and her sword always gets a plus flip. She is also very good at crowd control with things like earthquake and Transposition. Her defense is the highest in the game next to Perdita so she can run up against most models and rip them a new one and if she gets into trouble, see above spells. 2) She herself does not need the blood counters BUT the terror tots "grow" spell allows them to use counters on them OR another Nephilim within 6 inches which includes her. In theory turn one you could burn two soulstones to make a blood counter and then companion a terror tot to grow if you wanted to get an extra 4 ss worth of models on the table turn one. If you REALLY wanted to you could actually do it twice except you would have to wait until your next activation to grow the second tot. 3) This is all up to the player really. I usually used 3 terror tots a mature nephilim and a doppelganger in 30ss games leaving 3 ss for her to make more counters or to get a 4th tot if you feel like you need more models. That has worked well for me since the tots can grow pretty quickly if you have the ss on lilith and soon you have a bunch of pretty tough young nephilim flying around to rip things up. This of course is just a matter of personal preference so I am sure you will hear different things from different people and there are many different effective ways to use them. I hope this helps! Okay again just throwing this up there. I will be up at Dragons Lair this Tuesday from 5 until the store closes, willing to teach anyone who wants to learn. This will be the last demo for a little bit due to summer class schedule and trying to put a league together so I hope to see some people there.

Hey all! once again I will be running a demo at Dragons Lair in austin from 5 till midnight on Wednesday June 2

Ok so this Wednesday the 26 I will be running another demo from 5 till midnight at Dragons lair in Austin. Also on the 29 Dragons lair is hosting an entire day to demoing all kinds of games and Malifaux has a spot there as well. My table is suppose to be from 1-4 pm but they have told me I can stay later if people show so I dont mind being there all evening! Hello everyone! in case anyone here lives in the area and is interested I will be running a Demo at the Austin Dragons lair on Wednesday May 19 from 5pm to midnight. The rest of our playgroup will probably be floating around and I would like to start getting some new blood. let me know if you have any questions

I dont know, I havent been playing Neverborn for very long but I think that the doppelganger is a pretty solid bet for any of the three masters. The problem is he is 8 points which can put a hurt on things like Bad Juju or the Cade/ teddy combo. But the shapeless form ability is nice, letting you steal multiple abilities per turn. The -1 to all initiative flips is also a great thing to have in any crew you are running. This is just my thought though, he is pretty costly but he packs a punch and is pretty tough.

Yes for the most part you can play the crews right out of the boxes, not so much with Lilith's without the Nephilim models for the "Grow" and "mature" abilities, it sort of requires you to own some replacement models. Rasputina is a pretty good box in my opinion to start with as well

I will probably get a chance to proxy this list tomorrow so I will post how it went either tomorrow night or wednesday. I usually end up fighting Seamus or the Victorias so hopefully I will be able to get some damage in.

Hello, Im new to the boards and new to neverborn as well. I have played for some time now but have so far just been using Marcus...He just doesnt pack the punch I want my master to be able to have. He is just fine as a character but he doesnt play as aggresively as I want. I was considering switching to Lilith and was wondering if the following list looked decent for 30ss. Lilith 2x Terror tots 1x Mature Nephilem 1x Waldgeist 1x doppelganger With some decent luck with cards and whatnot I could have 36 ss worth of models on the table at the end of turn one and they all hit pretty hard. Plus with Liliths illusionary forest power the waldgeist is really nice, and the doppelganger can do a little bit of everything. Anyway just let me know what you think I am stil sort of getting the hang of this.
