  1. Whoa- the skin on your Lady Justice. Amazing. How did you do it?

  2. I'm really digging the white golem as opposed to the blueish tinted ones that are more commonly seen, like my own lol. Nice work on the other stuff. Look forward to seeing your take on Tina.
  3. I'll be putting on a demo night at Organized Play located at 221 Cumberland Ave. Knoxville, TN on Thursday March 4th. Hope to start about 5pm and run through 10pm. Hope to see you there.
  4. I'm digging the cherry tree on the shirt, but not digging the matching pink gloves as much. Great work overall though.
  5. I used GW Foundation Astronomicon Grey and blended up to GW skull white. Nothing too complicated.
  6. Welcome aboard Tobias. As for orange hair I just recently came up with a recipe that I like quite a bit. I just recently used it on my Lady Justice (http://www.wyrd-games.net/forum/showthread.php?t=10906). I used black primer and all paints are GW paints. It goes as follows. 1. Black primer 2. Paint hair with Bestial Brown 3. Wash hair with scorched brown with a tad scab red in it. 4. Mix a bit of fiery orange in with the bestial brown and highlight the hair 5. Use pure fiery orange as next highlight 6. Mix some Bronzed flesh in with the fiery orange as final highlight. 7. Give it one final wash of watered down Bestial orange to smooth the highlights. Seems more complicated than I thought now that I see it in print lol.
  7. I was sitting there looking at your first picture thinking it looked a lot like a banner bit from fantasy. Guess I should have scrolled down lol. Good job on the gang and great looking scales.
  8. He actually reminds me of Dr. Horrible with longer hair.
  9. Finished up my Lady J gang this week and thought I would share.
  10. Looking good man. That OSL is awesome for a first try. I've never given it a go because it's a little intimidating but after seeing this I'm going to have to just jump in. Can't wait to see them again in person tomorrow.
  11. Great job on these. I'm really digging Teddy. The more I see him painted up the less I can resist getting one and painting it myself. Can't wait to see Pandora join the rest.
  12. Finally got around to taking some pics of my gangs that I currently have done. First up is Tina: This gang was a fun challenge as I've not really painted anything winter/cold themed before. The snow was a mixture of baking soda, glue, water, white paint.
  13. I've used both simple green and purple power and for me purple power seems to work better. And as for how long you can leave models in it, I can honestly say that I've forgotten about a batch and left it sitting for at least 6 months and the models were unharmed.
