  1. I hope there is a cigar in this model's mouth
  2. In my experience, metal is absolutely horrendous to work with, so I would love to see some plastic kits.
  3. Yeah I'll take the Joker. Since we're half way through September already I'll go easy on myself this month and just do a single Death Marshal.
  4. Is it too late to sign up for this? I have a box of Lady Justice and her crew still to paint up and this might help with motivation.
  5. Got the first line of The Dark Tower on my right forearm.
  6. Nice. Not sure about the glossy effect though? Looks a bit like he's just crawled out of the womb!
  7. So what's the pros/cons/differences of undercoating with White as opposed to black? Got my first Malifaux minis last night and I want them looking as good as I can get them to. If this means using White I'm gonna have to go shopping ttonight
  8. Haha, awesomely hilarious. Good to see a bit of humour and know not everything is super serious. Also, duder... signed copy of Dark Tower #1? Jealous.
  9. Well I haven't played Malifaux yet (waiting on my Death Marshals to show up!) but it certainly appeals to me more. Having a handful of interesting characters to use just feels better than using an army of nameless, faceless squads. The characters are better too. Take WH40k for example. I play Space Wolves, and find that being told "Yo check out this bad ass Viking dude in awesome armour with a big ass bird on his shoulder" just isn't effective. Wyrd did an awesome job in including so much fluff in the rulebook: I had zero interest in Rasputina before reading through it, but now I'll probably pick her crew up when I've got my Death Marshals painted up. Same goes for Seamus. I have a feeling certain companies might try similar things now. Haha, I'm assuming all Skirmish games are like this, anyway.
  10. Think I'll have to go shopping for this Simple Green stuff. Thanks, duders.
  11. Hello, Anyone know a good way of removing paint from a model? I've heard it's do-able. Dug out a box of old stuff today from when I started a year ago, and it all looks real shit! But there's one model in particular I wouldn't mind painting up again. It's plastic, if that matters.
  12. Teddy looks awesome, loving the way the blood looks. Sorrows and Kade are nice too.
