Ok, for those who are looking that MTG is Magic the Gathering and not the subject of my query.
We played our first game of M2E this evening and really like some of the changes and are rather confused on a few others. Both of us are avid 1.5 players so this may have added to the problems.
Here is the scenario and I'm sorry if I'm getting some of the names or stats wrong.
I am trying to cast obey on one of my opponents models. I have a CA of 4 (no suit) and have a TN 14 (mask). I flip a 6 (ram) and my opponent looks at me at says; "you fail", I agree but shouldn't my opponent be flipping as well? I see this as a big change to the rules and one I'm confused on. So my total is 10 but not successful. My opponent WP 4 (no suit) flips a 2 and is thereby losing but again I haven't successfully cast the spell. Does he then decide to cheat? Should he say no and I cheat fate with an 11 mask from my hand, does he now have another opportunity to cheat fate?
Man, this reads poorly I'm sorry if this isn't clear but it seems like a very big change to the rules.
Thanks for any insight.
