  1. May league is over... June league has only just begun! Announcements for challenges each week via Facebook. See you at Hat's! ~J~
  2. Based on the available art, and practical concerns of drawing this out to a more lucrative long-term business for the guys at Wyrd, I'm only anticipating one Avatar per faction at the moment. Guild - Sonnia (we see this art in the new condensed rules manual) Resurrectionists - I'd guess Nicodem, but Seamus has fluff potential Arcanists - Rasputina (again, via art preview) Neverborn - Pandora (herp da derp) Outcasts - ... either Victorias (together on a 50mm?) or Leveticus (again, fluff potential)
  3. Seems we've been ninja'd on making a plushie of the Stitched Together... [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Burtons-Nightmare-Before-Christmas-Boogie/dp/B001KZ4GAY]http://www.amazon.com/Burtons-Nightmare-Before-Christmas-Boogie/dp/B001KZ4GAY[/ame] ~J~
  4. I've seen enough Teddy's in crib-room situations that I am determined to not copy this. If I'm going to make my Daydreams romping around on ancient monoliths with crayon scrawlings on them, then I know at least part of what my basing scheme will look like. The question is more like the preference of either jungle, fall forest, beach, wasteland/desert/dune, flowery meadow, etc... Unless I hear something equally enticing to try out.
  5. Anyone have a suggestion for basing scheme(s)? I know for my daydreams I'll be using the intended models but with extra stone monument bases under them with crayon drawings on them. I want my other nightmares to look like animated childrens' drawings. ~J~
  6. Two things to alleviate the pain from Ms. Black: http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/10d4ba5372/friday-lyrics-analyzed-with-rebecca-black ... and (only mildly NSFW): [ame] [/ame] ~J~
  7. Great taste in crews! Raspy is a great starter set to get into the game, but it's nice to see a newbie running at the Dolls! ~J~
  8. Some work could be done to this'n... http://tribalgames.co.za/images/wm_KHADOR%20FEMALE%20MANHUNTER_large.jpg ~J~
  9. Cool stuff, all! Though you are an awful person for making Pedo Bear more popular Anyway... All that Alice in Wonderland stuff is definitely inspiring me to get back into making my heavily-themed-and-converted crews again! You should expect to see my Lilith (Fallen Angels), Lady Justice (Res-busters) and Dreamer (Where the Nightmares Are) crews up shortly... ~J~
  10. Yuuuup.... making me want to go back to doing web comics! Also reminds me slightly of the rather whimsical work of my friend who went on to become a character designer for Adventure Time ~J~
  11. I love their Ice Queen models! :) Great job! ~J~
  12. I wonder, now, if "teddy bears" are called that in England, considering the origin of our term... :/ Welcome to Malifaux! ~J~
  13. Well I for one think we should encourage use of Portuguese whenever possible. It's one of the cooler languages out there, after Welsh and Finnish. Welcome, arschutz, and we hope to see you around. I'll be curious to know, for one, what the mini gaming community is like in Brazil, which games are most popular, and which Malifaux crews are most used (if it's already played there). ~J~
  14. Here's what I'm playing these days... Mini games that I'm serious about: Malifaux, Dystopian Wars, Firestorm Armada, The Uncharted Seas, Mordheim, Necromunda, Blood Bowl, Anima Tactics Mini games that I play only for S&Gs: Warmachine, Hordes Mini games I barely started playing: Freebooter's Fate, Pulp City Mini games I "play" despite mostly taking jillions of hours to carefully paint and line them up so that no one can appreciate them but me, so I march around in front of them in lockstep giving rousing speeches in High German: Warhammer, Warhammer 40k CCG from hell with addictive ink: Magic the Gathering... DAMN YOU, "NEW PHYREXIA" WITH YOUR TEMPTRESS-LEVEL COOLNESS!!! LCG that is far superior to every card game ever and has a good level of challenge to it: Call of Cthulhu LCG The only deck-building game I plan on buying: Resident Evil DBG (+ expansions) Silly games that make for a good lunch break diversion: We Didn't Playtest This at All (+ expansions), Aye Dark Overlord, Gloom (+ expansions), Hive (+ Mosquitoes!) Great cooperative board games: Arkham Horror (+ all expansions), Resident Evil DBG (see above) Cooperative games at the LGS with several layers of my drool on them: I want to get Mansions of Madness (CoC) as well, and MAAAAAAAYBE Descent (after I get a very large home in which to store it and all its umpteen-billion expansions!) and/or Betrayal at House on the Hill Video games that are still awesome to me on the Wii: Muramasa, Okami, Twilight Princess, Resident Evil 4, Metroid Prime trilogy, Prince of Persia trilogy, LEGO Star Wars PS3 titles of note: Fallout 3, Falout: New Vegas, God of War trilogy, Dante's Inferno, Soul Calibur 4, LEGO Harry Potter (1-4, 5-7), ES: ObIVion, Killzone 3 & 4 Reasons I got a DS: Pokemon White, Metroid Hunters Reasons I will eventually justify keeping my DS: Zelda (Spirit Tracks, Phantom Hourglass, etc.) ~J~
